This song. This song! THIS SONG!! Even as a kid, simply listening to my dad grooving. I knew this song was powerful, perfectly composed and executed. Billy Mann still banging in 2021! 🔥🔥
oh my god... ive been looking for this forever.... my hubbys favorite who passed away in 2000. We listened to this so many times in our new house in 1997. Thank you!!
My mom just passed two weeks ago. With your music Billy not sure I could see the other side. Thanks Aka Felicia Stockert upstairs neighbor in Morton Towers .
I loved this long-lost album (especially this song) and noticed there was an interview with him on a Spotify Podcast called Song Craft: Spotlight on Songwriters. I haven’t even listened to the interview yet when I got excited and went to listen to the song for the first time in 20 years but “couldn’t find it on either Spotify OR Apple Music”. The Stanford Mendicants do a pretty good (and interesting) vocal version of it but it’s nowhere near as good as this original…..then I find that someone’s loaded it to RUclips. They also loaded up Billy doing an acoustic version of it. Thanks God it’s still out there in the cosmos! Now, to listen to that interview.
My ex turned me on to this guy and this album and I just couldn’t understand why this guy wasn’t already at the top of the charts! I wore this CD out and bought a copy of my own. I did get an autograph pic that my ex got for me, but I never got a chance to see him live. He’s AWESOME!
I've been looking for ages, too. I saw this guy at an Alice 97.3 promo night in SF and he was awesome. I guess the rest of the world didn't think so. Thanks for posting this.
He rocks live!!!!!! And when I met him in the 90's he was so gorgeous. He came with Blessid Union of Souls, to this day both are my absolute favorites!!!!!
I had this album on cassette so long ago and I listened to it over and over again and I'm so happy to find it today - still hits ❤

His music is not only life reflecting and heart warming; it's magical and inspiring 🥰
And he's one super nice guy too.

Saw Billy Mann perform in Modesto CA in the mid 90s- would love to be able to download this classic!!!
Oakland, for me!
I love you, Billy. My interview with him was one of the best of my career. It's about time someone uploaded this album.

Great song!
Pretty song--love it.
Me too! Just found it after about ten years!!
best shit ever!!!
Love this song growing up(:
No one under 30 has any idea what this means. "then my tape deck blew!"
LOL!!!
Why hasn't Universal put both this LP and Earthbound out for people to buy them? You bought the A&M catalog, put all the damn records out!
man, we've all been killed by flowers if ya know what i mean
Doesn't this sound like a lot of today country music artist songs....
Why are these songs not on iTunes ?
Billy has said in interviews that he doesnt own the masters to the songs. He doesn't even know who does at this point.
This makes my sticker peck out.
