    Interesting. So my receiver was already in relative setting. 👍🏼
    Good info though. Now I know this little bit of info whenever I upgrade my AVR.

    Good video. If I set MV as per video so for achieving 75 DB I have to move speaker DB level in minus or more than minus 10. But in AVR level can move max up to minus 10 and not beyond minus 10 as there are max level is minus 10. I m using Yamaha HTR 3072 AVR with Yamaha high end Bookshelf speakers with Yamaha SW 300 sub woofer. My Flat area is 130 sq feet so I think in my case I can not set MV 0 so I have to set MV in minus than only I can set 75 DB level for each speakers. It's a 5.1 system. Thanks for your reply of my previous question. Your video is good. Thanks Bro.

    Home theater calibration is all about what sounds best in your environment. People with inefficient speakers will need to calibrate there system a bit higher than 75 db.

    Hi! I have a Pioneer ELITE SX-S30 2.1 stereo receiver that uses absolute volume (0-50). What would be the equivalent volume number to achieve relative reference master volume (0db)?
    Thanks!

    Same here, My 2019 Onkyo TX-SR393 has absolute volume scale 0 to 99 (can not be changed), what number should relative 0 be?

    Appreciate this bud. But please be patient with me, I'm still new on this receiver stuff.
    So if I set my volume to 0.0 while I'm testing, won't the test tone be way too loud at that level?

    • @The.Home.Cinema.Engineer
      @The.Home.Cinema.Engineer  2 года назад +1

      No worries no because you’ll be adjusting up speaker trim level to 75dB
