Whoa! There's a boxer vs savior video on yt thats been up for 16 years and is 22 minutes long. I thought videos longer than 10m were more recent than that
I find it amazing how these pro players go for a 5th or 6th Factory instead of a Starport earlier. At some point, you're gonna need Science Vessels when playing against Zerg. But in this game, it would've given Light the option for (possibly game-changing) Valk support in the meta.
oh these are some marquee names. Didn't know this tournament was right under our noses. I wondered why Terrans stopped opening mech when there are times it looked OP but it seems so limiting in the early game.
I think the main thing here is that Terran needs to know whether Mutas or Lurkers are the main threat, because no one Mech unit is good at fighting both air and ground. If ground, then tank added in. If Muta, then Vessel/Valk added in. Light expected a ground army, not a massed air army.

Nah. The expansion base for Zerg would have been insanely hard to attack with Light's remaining army, and the mutalisks would just pick everything off if he tried
I have no idea why muta's were not removed from the game long ago horrible to play with, horrible to play against and absolute garbage to watch takes a matchup that normally has a great diverse range of skills and interactions and reduces it to muta vs anti muta either that or they need to add in an actual good anti muta unit into the game
@@hallo-mt5tx valks come too late and have too high tech requirement and are useless after you need a unit that counters them the way a lurker counters marines
@@Appletank8 way too complicated a counter that takes too long to make and is too expensive to expand on my comment a bit we are talking about players dumping all their resources into one un-upgraded un-supported unit in this case mutas now imagine trying the same thing with absolutely nothing but un-upgraded un-supported marines/tanks/zealots/stalkers think of how easy that would be to counter and that's how easy it should be to counter a muta attack

No. I believe they only do half damage to Mutalisks just like Goliaths. You need a lot of them to kill Mutas.
The idea under fighting near turrets is just to get more damage in, since they can’t exactly walk over to help.

they already added valks in bw, it doesnt really get better than that against mass muta
