Oh my goodness! Thank you!!!! What an awesome video! So helpful! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I was just thinking the other day that I wish PTP would make a video showing all their fabrics. Next time I’d love to see a comparison of good ‘sampler’ colors from different color families.

Super video! I love PTP linens too. Loved the Charlie Brown-esque music in the background. I don’t fully understand the desaturation concept. Maybe this is why sometimes when I do my own colors sometimes it’s not so great... maybe a side topic for a future Flosstube ? Thank you! Lisa

Wonderful color comparison with the DMC, thanks for doing this. I don't think any Floss Tuber (sounds like a plant) has ever done this. I'm so glad to be part of this generous, sharing community. I don't make videos but I'm an ardent follower of you and others who do.

Oh my word!!! Are you kidding me??? This was the BEST VIDEO EVER!!! Stephanie, you have done such a wonderful service to the stitching community by showing all these beautiful fabrics, with all their differences and variety, and so very much BEAUTY! I’ve learned so much from seeing this and I was taking notes the whole time of colors I want to order. Your swatch notebook is a fabulous idea, and one I will be doing, too. Ditto the idea of ordering the small pieces from 123 Stitch. I have mostly neutrals in my collection, and I’m just starting to branch out more into the color realm, so this was invaluable for me. Thank you so much! The background music was impeccable, by the way! 🎼🎹 This is definitely going into my Keeepers file! Blessings to you, beautiful lady! 🧚‍♀️♥️☺️

This was MAGNIFICENT! I want to THANK YOU for showing these gorgeous colors! It was REALLY helpful to see the fabric that you stitched on! For instance that Jazz color - I would see the mottling and be too cautious about the outcome.... but then seeing your lovely peacock piece showed me how WELL it compliments your pattern!! I appreciate your hard work and photography to put this together! 😊👏🏻💖

Very very useful!!! A colour I think you should have is Rosewood. I stitched Persephone by Mirabilia on it and the light greens/blues/teals popped on it and it also worked with the dark blacks/browns of the background pattern. I love it!! The one I am intrigued by based on the picture in the website is Fresco but I've never known anyone to use it.

Thanks for putting in all the hard work it must have taken to do this video for us all. Interesting to see the comparisons like that. I saw a couple that I love. You had sterling which is one of my faves. I just got some "cauldron" at Sassy Jacks which is a great Halloween color: grayish/blueish purple with blood colored mottling. I'm going to stitch Spooky Hollow 1820 by Lindsay Lane Designs on it (the model is stitched on it). PTP is my favorite linen.

Thanks for making me work slower because I had to keep looking up at all the beautiful fabrics! :) It was an awesome video. So far I have only used Aida, but I *love* PTP. I recently used Prank for a couple of Halloween patterns, and of course it was perfect. It's my only orange fabric. One color you really should look into is Dapple. I just ADORE this color. Its a very cool light gray, with fairly light mottling on Aida, but more pronounced on linen. I'd say its close to DMC 02 or 03. It's a great grey neutral. I've used it for 2 Disney related patterns from Good Morning Maui- Welcome Foolish Mortals, and Stretching Portraits. Both are from Disney's Haunted Mansion ride. It gives a nice gray cloudy, dingy, old sort of tone. :) Keep up the super work!

  • @bluegrassstitcher7458

I didn’t see Heartland in there. It’s an AWESOME light brown neutral. It’s one of the new ones from this year and quickly became a favorite go-to. I also have a deep navy (Mystic) but it’s more for specific things. Way too dark for just anything. I purchased it and a deep bright red (Phoenix) both because Queen of Freedom from Mira looked really good on both of them on Fabricviewer.com and I wanted to see them in person to decide. I do a lot of Americana so they’ll get used eventually
Also, I can’t believe how much different your Heroic is than mine. Mine is VERY red, white and blue. it just all depends on the piece you get I guess. Haunted is another blue/green that I use a lot.
Loved seeing all of yours. There’s a couple I need to order. I’d love to have them all. Wouldn’t we all?!?
    Thanks for sharing.

Oh. I forgot Mello. A yellow toned neutral. That one I use more than I thought I would

I call that calypso piece “electric blue” but I have never heard anyone else call it that.
