T-Bob, even goofier in lederhosen. 🙂Quite the currency situation & villain plan. Wild stuff w/Bruce's fall, phasing through the wall, & even affecting the weather (2nd time, I think). Thanks for this. 😎
Bruce standing on the roof of Rhino and lassoing Switchblade which is more than 100 ft away, before climbing up and then subsequently falling, is my vote for the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a MASK episode...
If anyone who watches this episode pays close to when the mask are energized more then 3 mask get energized one of them is Hondo original blaster mask. Another funny tidbit about this episode is Buddy is driving Nightstalker but does not make not that Hondo is letting him drive Nightstalker, not until episode 34 does he make mention of that. The car may actually have a different name in that episode also.
When Matt Trakker was still studying, it's unknown if he lived with a landlord (where the future MASK leader would be the tenant). Oh, and getting back to the degrees (severities) of evil of my favourite (obviously fictional) villains, VENOM's on the same scale of evil (complete monsters) as the bacteria, from that cartoon about the body (which it even *took place* inside, and was on Channel 4, in the UK) - the bacteria (similar to the Darkling Lords, Skeletor and the ThunderCats villains) [and, of course, VENOM] never show regret for their evil acts, let alone absolutely never have redeemable qualities whatsoever. Similar to the Darkling Lords, Skeletor and the ThunderCats villains (and, of course, VENOM), the bacteria would be worse than, not only the Transylvania Pet Shop characters, but worse even than villains like the Decepticons and Cobra (since, as I reiterate, in the Transformers movie, Galvatron tried showing niceness, towards the Autobots, when both sides knew of Unicron's most diabolical goal - to devour all planets, especially Cybertron, and, in the two part DiC, post-G.I. Joe movie, episode 'The Greatest Evil', there's this drug dealer 'the Headman', who not even Cobra likes, as even Cobra knows the dangers of taking drugs). Of course, had there been a drug dealer in any episodes of 'Transylvania Pet Shop' (not the Headman himself exactly, but definitely someone with the same drug dealer role), the characters would definitely have the sense to say 'no' to drugs, aware what the side effects of taking them are.
Ok I wish they’d just choose what dusty’s vehicles gun does and stick with it. Is it freeze gun or a lifter making Bruce’s mask pointless or the various other things. It just seems to be what they want
I concur with these comments (and I especially feel that way about T-Bob)! The only two worthwhile characters in this were Alex Sector and Miles Mayhem (you never got assholes like Scott and T-Bob in Visionaries, which was a much better show than this).
Visionaries was cool, I wish it had got a longer run! The annoying assholes and sidekcks were commonplace in 80's cartoons. Scott and T-Bob in this, Orko and Kowl in He-Man/She-Ra, Uni in Dungeons and Dragons, Oon in Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Snarf in Thundercats, the Orangutan in Centurions (to a lesser extent); those are just off the top of my head. There's bound to be others. Were we less forgiving as kids or are we more cynical now we're older!?
Some people (of course, those who *did* watch Visionaries, let alone remember it) think it's actually good Visionaries only had a 13 episode run (for myself, one reason was, with all 12 male Knights - 6 male Spectral Knights and 6 male Darkling Lords) [8 Knights *with* power staffs, and the remaining 4 males with vehicles, in lieu of power staffs], you didn't *need* more characters; the reason someone gave (I can't remember when exactly I saw someone say this - it's a long time ago) was - people would have gotten bored hearing the same power staff rhymes, over and over and over. Yes, I know how you feel about Orko - he was like a Royal jester (and Snarf was very whiny). Fortunately, Visionaries never had such characters (there's definitely *that* way to see it, when people wish it had more than 13 episodes).
I just read (just now) that Matt actually *adopted* Scott (since Matt was a bachelor) [and, from Scott's knowledge, that he gained from school, and possibly college, that's how he built T-Bob]. Scott was definitely an only child (I mean even before he knew Matt Trakker, and built T-Bob).
I always think Scott's between 11 and 13. Judging by his behaviour, attitude and his height when around adults. I imagine Bruce and Alex building T-Bob and teaching Scott how to do basic repairs. Scott's no young age prodigy with the know-how to build a sentient, logical A.I. complete with full motion and sensors. I'm impressed iif it would even exist mid 80's! :D And given that T=Bob is sentient, has fears, doesn't want to do certain (often dangerous things suggested) activities and such, Scott treats him like a c#*t. He's supposed to be your friend. Which is what makes me think Scott can't hold on to real (human) friends because they tell him to F-off!
I like some of the theories in this sub-thread. It would have been cool if they integrated them into Scott (rather then being a "chocolate nut") when the series when it was made.
I concur - this show had *lots* of rubbish characters (the way the writers never allowed us to see Vanessa's feet implies how bad this show was, when, even if she was technically a villain, she'd have had reasonably nice feet).
One of the best shows of the 80s. By far.
Holy hell that V.E.N.O.M. heavymetal tune is awesome. Has been my favorite since childhood!
Boy, this show is old, West Germany, Deutsche Marks, instead of Germany and Euros.
It was first aired Nov 11, 1985
after all these years I still remember every word to the theme tune.
I like the detail of the chains on the tires of Rhino.
With the monetary jokes, how can this episode not be amusing?? Possibly the best one yet!!

The back ground music is so good

Admito que era un niñito cuando vi este cómic y lo que más me gustó siempre fue la canción de entrada, excelente composición.
Bruce falls 100 ft and hits the snow without injury and makes a joke lol....!
And yet, DOESN'T use his Lifter mask
hated that buddy had to share a ride with hondo. he deserved his own. give hondo nightstalker and give buddy a new firecracker.
That actually does happen later on. Firecracker is brought back for just that purpose.
Buddy drives Wildcat which is similar to Firecracker in appearance.
@@SirStoneyOfBowWildcat is season 2 a totally different season of MASK
What's worse is that he was the only one to share a vehicle with Hondo until later when he got Firecracker after he rebuilt it
In the PSA, Matt should have held onto Scott's legs as Scott rescued T Bob from the water
16:32 looks like Mission Impossible Music!

Jared Shank Nightstalker is also called Hurricane (it’s official name for its toy version)
"It's snowing virus particules and we've keep it from reaching Germany."
Good, keep the virus out of Germany!

Did Matt ever pay Bruce back his $20? LoL
Maybe.
Knowing Matt he most likely did Matt isn't the type to take the money and run. That's Mayhem
13:25 -13:56 notice Matt's uniform changes color three times
Ok I wish they’d just choose what dusty’s vehicles gun does and stick with it. Is it freeze gun or a lifter making Bruce’s mask pointless or the various other things. It just seems to be what they want
Dusty calls it The Electric Ouch on the jeep. The freeze gun is on the boat
How much is the dvd
Is defense mode a new thing?
lifter on
spectrum on
nice
Scott is kind of bratty.
Kinda? He's a total brat.
Brat? He's a total Asshole.

I would love to have that penatrator mask lol
I bought a Swiss Army knife while in Switzerland. #Appropriate
If Scott ate all the time like he did in the cartoon wouldn't he gain a lot of weight?
Kid and droid ran behind a tree
Yet they are shown in the trailer
How about making a mask film
This is a good old 80’s cartoon like transformers that went far as a film.
Yes please
what a spoiled brat Scott is .. not like Matt dosen't have any other cash either.
He had T-Bob made for him, why? Because there's no way Scott could make any real friends!

1:59 - Of course your Deutsche Marks are no good. Ever heard of the Euro?
This show was made long before the Euro was made. Also, when this show was on TV, Germany was split into West and East Germany.
Too many bad puns on this show anyway no wonder is stop watching the show

@@shermanvermin76 then why are you even here, idiot? It’s a damn kids show, not adult anime, Karen!
My advice to both is if you've got a problem, then turn the show off and walk, because it's a waste of time if you don't like it.
