it is relevant because this is historical, the Mughal dynasty comes from the Tamerlane dynasty, therefore the empire that extended over the countries of Stan and Persia found itself very small towards Afghanistan and then expanded into India becoming the Mughal Empire

Weltreich is literally a copy and my own twist on Kaiserreich, so I don't see a problem in you having a lore.
