Unquestionably the most beautiful of all competitive pocket billiard games, along with snooker. Both are chess compared to the checkers of 9 ball. :P At least make 10 ball the official rotation game. True tests of skill in all things always seek to eliminate as much as possible the unpredictable touch of lady luck. THANKS PAT!
Definitely the most boring, even moreso than one pocket. Like unsalted potatoes, sure, it gets the job done, but could be so much better. Like rotation or even one pocket.
In YOUR opinion. There's a reason that the most coveted record in western pocket billiards to break has been the 14.1 record for decades. Period. It's cool. Some people like tic-tac-toe. Many others prefer chess.@@onepocketnovice
In YOUR opinion. There are many reasons why the most coveted record to chase in western pocket billiards has been Mosoni's 14.1 record. It's cool. Some people like tic-tac-toe, others prefer chess. FWIW, in my own younger, more ignorant days I felt pretty much the same as you do now. Maybe one day you will have a similar epiphany. @@onepocketnovice
@@tonybrady1176 The pockets are smaller, the table is larger, the balls are smaller, the cues have less forgiveness, and the scoring is key to winning. It is a very challenging game! Lots of safe shots and cue ball manipulation . It's like the St. Andrews of billiards. In my opinion 🙂
Filipino government figured out that placing pool tables in certain neighborhoods kept the crime down.. hence why so many Filipinos are good players it's become an important sport there
You are thinking of one pocket, this 14.1 aka straight pool. This is the game they played in the old school days. If you've ever seen the Hustler, that's what fast Eddie and Fats were playing.
It'd be great if you could add the 14.1 match between Earl and the late Nick Vlahos, who in one pocket and 14.1 could compete against anyone. From the late 1960's to the present, "Little Nicky" was the finest all-around pool talent ever to come out of the D. C. area----he was beating the best players there when he was 15.
@@AccuStats I love the replies by AccuStats to some of the comments on here and wonder if it was Pat himself. I still have some VHS tapes from 1999. Pat must be doing something right he is in the Hall of Fame. Oh he can play 14.1 too just find the match he is playing Grady.
Idk, I can't imagine these old videos without him.... he kinda adds to the unique quality of Accu Stats videos. I hear ya tho, I can understand why some are annoyed by his commentary, I guess it's a personal opinion type deal. Still excellent videos tho. Especially one's featuring Efren...😊👍👍🐐

Snooker blows … my opinion

Thanks so much for the upload. I even watch the commercials, I don’ t skip.
I was wondering why all the comments are recent on such an old video. Thanks for the time travel.
Because the video is just uploaded recently
thanks so much for these old videos
So great seeing effren in his prime
TWO of the Best 👌
Thanks for the video!! 👏👏👏
Back when straight pool wasn't Earls forte yet. But I always root for Earl. Nobody shows so much passion of the game and sport more than Earl.
It just so happened that Efren is more gifted as a player than him and Earl admitted it
21:10 ALWAYS THOUGHT BALLS HAD TO BE SHOT INTO 2 CORNER POCKETS. NOT SIDE POCKET OR UPPER CORNERS. GREAT UPLOAD.

@@jlobiafra the best pool movie btw
Nice shirt! 👍
Was there a one pocket match between Earl and Efren?
Legends
Earl's emotions get the better of him.
Yes, but efren is no. 1...

Efren lighting a cigarette... good old times ;)
The least they could do is look at each other while shaking hands.😮😢
I find it very hard to believe that Efren ran 200-300 pts in balkline (21:00).
Interesting seeing him smoke mid tourney, must feel amazing to take those drags lol
At least Earl admits that Efren is # 1.
This is where you realize how much smarter of a pool player Efren is.
Exactly! These commentators always piss me off in his matches! Like that’s you are up there and he is playing!

Pretty SAD hand- shake Earl.😮😢😢
Could've, would've, should've..😂😂still shooting a brilliant game..❤
Killed the volume, coach/commentators are annoying..and now I can watch n learn from the great magician himself..❤
Not surprised. Earl sht the bed here.
Wow Efren spoke good English in here
this gold crown 3 needed some love on the castings before they threw it on the feature table
Why is Earl keeping WET towel on the other table? Not good for felt!😮😢
Earl is a 9 ball specialist. He doesn't have the temperament for this game.
Back when earl was normal

May kaha pa ng sigarilyo sa polo 😂
earls worse match ever
Gotta watch, but will mute it. I cannot stand Incardona.......... I think he is why accustats goes bust
Well, we've been around for over 30 years. Haven't gone bust yet.
if you are still around, it is very low place.... so many other way ahead!
