United States of Mind (Alan Hull), a cover by McAdam

'United States of Mind' is a song written by Alan Hull (Lindisfarne) and this cover is recorded by McAdam (aka John McAdam/Tarmac). I recorded it in 2020 and, with the forthcoming documentary about Alan Hull, it seemed appropriate to put a video to it and share.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I have the Pipedream sheet music book, bought for 75p (probably from JG Windows in Newcastle?). Also the two Lindisfarne sheet music books, as I'm a life-long fan of the band. I've never looked to see if anyone's selling theirs on eBay, etc. And thanks for the Lindisfarne stuff you've posted - not heard Merry Xmas War Is Over, though I know Alan Hull was a bit of a John Lennon fan? It's not the best of covers... but most of the Christmassy songs are already on YT. If there's any particular era of the band you'd like to hear some more of, I'll do some digging.
