Hello Iam 13 years old i really want to be a pro footballer and achieve my goals. Please can you suggest drills that will improve me fully or please can i have a 1 on 1 session
Hello joner .I can i get some of the equipment you use. I am father in the UK. All my three boys play and am not sure when you'll be in the UK. England
Hi Lee, may I like to ask you a question about first touch? Is it better to have first touch to put the ball only take 1 step away to shoot or put the ball 2 or 3 steps away from shoot? Which ways give more accuracy and power? Thanks a lot.
Joner, love the videos you guys put together. I've recently been watching a lot of video and trying to research a question I have about receiving and passing touches and when to use which foot for 2-touch passing. So I understand receiving on back foot is to help open the body and play into a new space. My question I will put into an example. You will see a pro "receive right, pass right" vs "receive right, pass left". My conclusion is it depends on where you are playing. "Receive right, pass right" would be to really open your body and pass out to your right side to avoid pressure and/or connect to your teammate out to the right. If a player were to receive right, pass left, it is often a quick 2-touch method and typically the pass with the left would allow you to connect a pass more in front of you. Any thoughts on the question of why 2-touch would be for example, R-R vs R-L? And again, thanks for what you do with your videos.
If you can't see how you can incorporate this on the field. You shouldn't even be playing football. It's all about being precise and in control with your passing, keeping them on the ground and not elevating the ball. 2nd exercise he said cleary your doing a feint and running for the through ball. If the through ball isn't precise it'll be too long and the keeper will win it. If the man making the run, runs too early he'll be offside. Sometimes you can get rid of a defender with a simple feint. Besides all that you come across certain situations in a game where you need to make small precise passes with teammates or dribble where you don't have much space. And all this with repetition is to improve that. In the video, a lot of bad touches were made and its normal to make mistakes but these drills work that. so you're much sharper and don't mess up as much as you gain a better feel for the ball.
I think he was talking about the fact that in the begining of the video the coach said he was going to demonstrate how it could be related to their position on the field. I admit I'd love to see this demonstration too as it is as informative, if not more, than the drill itself.

Quality drill. One thing I really like about it is that you can make it as simple or as complicated as necessary to match the age of your group.
Am still back here to learn more thanks Alot coach Joner. Watching all the way from Kenya..

Hi Joner, great videos. Was just wondering what video camera you use to recod your sessions? Thanks, Tommie

Nice work I like this one
Concept offers great benefits if players are on same page...
Well done
The player needs to check behind before opening up to receive a pass in case there's somebody behind, otherwise they'll lose the ball straight away.
Its very helpuly
Lovely stuff coach cheers
