I have these same lenses for my M3P and they are fantastic. Ordered them direct from Freewell in Hong Kong though. I love how the anamorphic lens gives you so much more width with very minimal bend of the frame.
Yeah, I used the anamorphic throughout a whole day/night in this video. The usage of nd filter is only necessary to lower the shutter speed (but not needed all the time).
Aren't you working for freewell (the company behind these lenses)? If so, the lenses might still be great, I think mentioning this would be more honest.
I’m not working for anyone. I make videos for many brands and their social medias like: Freewell, NANLITE, Moza, Feelworld etc. However this is my personal channel and none of the companies have any input on the videos and content I post here. Though I do make sponsored videos from time to time, but I always mention that it includes paid promotion.
I think that I like it, but what the heck is the blue streak across the video at times - (lens flare???) as that is a deal breaker if the lens causes that.
Please check what is an anamorphic lens and what kind of image it produces. There are lots of documentary videos on YT about anamorphics. Wide angle doesn’t produce any flares though
That is the effect of the anamorphic lens, not the wide angle. But I agree, it looks ghastly and the wide angle too soft in corners, for me it is not acceptable, for both.
do you know if they plan on doing 1.33x anamorphic? I saw another video where you explained it would make it heavier etc, but I'm just curious if there are any plans for it. It would be great for creating seamless/uncropped videos with other 1.33x videos.
Are you comparing the Mini 3 pro to the GoPro's field of view? if so I'd recommend you to use a fullframe cinema camera and shoot open gate with something like a 12mm lens
How are you attaching the drone to the tripod?
Thank you!
Tracking mode works? When use the lens
Awesome music selection Steven great test with those lenses ❤.
Could you please show us how to put drone onto tripod? thank you
Sure! I made a short video about it. You can check in the SHORTS section on my channel
Do you think the wide angle lens is good for stills, or do you think that the wide angle panorama setting for stills is better?
Beautiful Prague.
Returning there in 3 weeks.
great video.
THANK you!
I have the DJI mini 3 pro. Is it possible to stack this lens with the nd filters?
yes
use Freewell Bright Day - 6Pack Filters Compatible with Mini 3 Pro/Mini 3
Is this lens different from the wide angle lens sold on DJI website?
Привет ! Давненько не попадался мне твой контент ! Взрослеешь ! Как всегда приятная подача !
you did not squeezed output,
great review! (Just came back from Czechia (Pilsen), btw, what a beautiful country!)
Question, what settings do u use for low light evening/night time filming on the mini 3 pro. all i get is noise in the image at night

Absolutely agree!
Are you based in Hong Kong?
@@StevenDivish Living in Thailand actually, but I'm from England 😁
Sweet! Thailand is the place to be in January! I can't stand cold weather...
can you show me houw you grab the drone in to the tripod
Sure. Will show in the next video!
Can you use the anamorphic lenses in any light conditions? Even when it's cloudy, and dark days? Or it would be better to get ND 4 and ND 8
Yeah, I used the anamorphic throughout a whole day/night in this video.

Great vidio thanks from the UK
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Wait can't you set it on full screen and do the same thing and then set your drone during or after you recorded it.. 🤔 and get the same results
Sorry I don’t understand you. Set on full screen what?
Je až šokující o kolik lepší je Freewell oproti ostatním značkám.
To je pravda 😊

No idea
do you feel that the image quality is sacrificed?
With the wide angle lens only at the corners. With the anamorphic lens not at all, love it
Great!
thanks for the review
Thanks for watching!
Thank you Steven ; )
Nice review. I think I’ll get these.
Nice job thank's Bro 👍
great video, but would have loved this chaptered.
Thank you!
Nice, Question: how are you attaching that super clamp to the drone for your tripod work?
Суперовий інгліш у тебе ;)
Excellent, my DJI wide angle is softer; this looks much better as you can add an ND filter.
Cool but i'm happy the way it is.
That’s awesome!
оууууу 🎉 senks ❤
Freewell wondered what to do. "money trap"
Minimal field of view gain (compared to FPV drones), too much blur :/

Way too much distortion.
Hmm...
