FYI, you don't need to put the Teflon paste on the "JIC" connectors. These connectors seal on the machined surfaces inside the fitting. Good video series though. Thanks

Hi +poppafixit, thanks for watching and the comment! Good point. I am actually in the process of removing and redoing the hydraulics on our grapple as I have a spot that continues to leak fluid. My hope is to remove the paste and make sure to clean the fittings real good and then attach everything and hopefully have it seal better a second time versus the first time I installed it. Thanks again!!!

how long are the hoses you have that run from the rear remotes to the front end loaded? and when routing the lines did you just follow the hardlines all the way from rear to front?

Thanks for watching and the questions @Ryan Bakinowski! I do not remember exactly how long the hoses are but they are zip tied along the hardlines to the front.

Great video set. What is the control you are using to open/close the grapple? Did you consider the Titan Grapple before buying? It's much less expensive, includes the hoses, free shipping, and has 2 cylinders. Just curious.

Thanks for watching and the question +Tim Murray! We control our grapple with a rear hydraulic control that is mounted just to the right and rear of the operates seat. I agree the Titan Grapple is less expensive and comes with the hoses and I am sure it is a good unit. If I remember correctly the Titan unit is also heavier and I wanted the ability to maximize the weight of items we lift. At this point, we have not needed the ability to have the two separate grapple claws and the single one on ours has worked fine.
