I bought a small Chanel dresser with chain from Harrods and everything you said here about fakes applies to it! The stitching is terrible, especially the zip at the corner. It's raised on one side and flat on the other, the zip won't engage properly and the top handle is bent and takes some moving around to straighten out. All in all if someone told me it was a fake I would believe them! So might as well buy *unidups* instead of the £1300 authentic one.

There are original quality replicas in the market these days, you should have picked one of those for comparison. This is the worst quality replica even an LV virgin can spot it.
My mom have the same bag as the original in your video but unfortunately, all of the handle, the bottom part (brown) and the brown leather (same as the handle) inside have cracked already and I can no longer see the numbers. The only thing that wasn't cracked in the bag was the body (the monogram). It is a vintage Louis Vuitton, given to her by her aunt around 20-21 years ago. Is there any way we can still authenticate it?
It cracked because she never used and it was stocked inside her cabinet for 20 years! She didn't use it for the reason that she prefers a sling bag rather than a hand or shoulder bag.

Sequonda Brown I looked up the date code and it says it was made April 1999 in France. Just search “Louis Vuitton code number” and you’ll see websites pop up that you can authenticate it with. From what I can see, it’s authentic.
I can tell you in the high end Replica world, many people like and prefer replica bags with the "AR" date code. They're often mirror image quality with very good canvas without the purple undertones. They're a bit more pricey, but they're reps. I have a suspicion you may find that yours is one of these.
The only way to actually tell is to buy it new from the LV Store. If it's real leather and the major details are on point, why would anyone care? If a person is classy looking and they have a fake, then people would ASSUME it's real and if a ghetto gal has a real one she bought from the LV Store, then people would assume it's a fake. It's perception that sells. This is why designers only want certain people wearing their things. Mercedes doesn't want ghetto looking and acting people driving their cars because they decrease it's value greatly.

Hes not good. There are more ways to authenticate a LV bag. One big one is that Louie never uses a skinny 0 in his name his O are nice and round.
Yeah that's really wonky. A lot of the fakes are really good these days.
Actually 🤔 the pattern on the sides hardly ever match up perfectly on real bags.

That is pleather on the replica. It’s not even real leather. There are mirror image replica out there now that would’ve been better comparing.
