They are not Polish. This isn’t a house of a typical Polish family. My bet they’re Romanians and a father figure is an American. He's probably one of those military personnel or some kind of diplomatic attaché who coordinates U.S. aid that goes through Poland and Romania to Ukraine hence the MREs rations probably originally destined for the Ukrainian front and their combatant units there etc.

When I was in Gdansk a couple of years ago I remarked to our walking tour guide about all the beautiful young blonde mothers and children I saw. He said "Those aren't Polish women.
