That would be cool and unique. But that's my opinion and they have theirs.

Wheeled vehicles with big 90 and 105 guns are considered Tank Destroyers in the present world. Having said that then WG has done this line the right way. This will play like support snipers I guess and thats as it should be
Given the size of this thing, it seems pretty astonishing that it doesn't have a 4th crewman as a dedicated loader. What's taking up all the space in this giant turret? Certainly not thick armor.
If they keep all the stats the same, but they can buff "ONE" characteristic it should give it British HESH pen(bc it would in line with other british tanks) and buff the DPM to ~3000 the be in line with the british tech tree characteristic of having awesome DPM. The point is that WG shouldn't overbuff it in the next iteration of the test server to the point that its OP, but give it "ONE" thing that very strong so it stands out a bit more.
think this tank will rock if they add: +30-35% camo, -2.0-3.0 gun dispersion, +10-20% engine power(maybe), still not op, but fun sneaky flank/distance tank.
Giving the tier X another gun option, maybe a 120mm, might make the tech line at least worth a grind. Also, hadn’t they nerf the HE shells, we wouldn’t have such an wheels issue now would we?
I think WG shouldn’t need to worry about every line looking different, it’s fine having clones between tech trees. The AMX30B was originally a leopard clone, then WG had to try to make it different and now it’s not even a tech tree tank anymore. But that’s my opinion
Fair criticisms all around, great review QB! I think the concept could benefit from actually good mobility (maybe 72 top speed and much better HP/t so it can actually reach and hold those speeds) to make the trade-offs worth it, though your proposal of higher alpha also sounds interesting.
So basically... It is a Leopard 1 equivalent that trades DPM for near immunity to being tracked. I'm actually ok with that. The line feels... balanced. After seeing absolute endless creep of overpowered and gimmick vehicles, this is like a breath of fresh air. I'm also baffled with this statement "this is not a fast vehicle" - I mean... come on... let's be real, just because it is not another EBR Ferrari, doesn't mean it is not fast - it is still keeping up with things like bat-chat - which is easily among the fastest tanks in the game. Calling a vehicle doing consistently over 60km/h "not fast" is not exactly honest.
Trades DPM, camo and bunch of other stats in smaller quantity, for not being able to be immobilized, albeit with severely decreased speed. Wouldn't really call that Leopard equivalent. While it certainly is fast, its movement speed isn't exceptional is what I think he meant. With such lackluster stats elsewhere one would expect it to really shine at least somewhere, but it just doesn't.
@@Donanzador So it still isn't a vehicle that goes with the powercreep. Not every new line should be "exceptional" at something or best in class in some aspect. As it stands - this is a fairly mediocre sniper medium with good reverse speed, protection from being immobilised and decent gun handling.
@@hideshisface1886 Yes it certainly doesn't go with the powercreep, and I'm not asking for it to be yet another tank that makes previous ones obsolete. But a new tank should have some kind of role in the game. This really doesn't. It's neither an all rounder that can do decent in any situation but great in none, nor specialized for something, but bad at others. You said it yourself, it's a mediocre sniper. And when the tank's best aspect lands it being mediocre at that role, what's the point? A Leopard can do everything this does equally well or more often than not better, and no one would call it OP or unbalanced.
I agree I think they were afraid of the reaction based on the EBR introduction and went way below subpar w/ this. IDK why it doesn't have HESH - a unique specialty of high tier UK tanks. IDK why it's camo is so bad (it's tall so yeah it shouldn't be OP but it's wildly undercamo'd).It doesn't have an autoloader/auto-reloader so why is the DPM so bad? I'll play the tank line cause I eventually will want to work up this tree but I'm not really looking forward to it.
Im slightly conflicted. Trying to compare it to a leo but you dont take super forward and aggro positions. Also i think while it is a sniper, i think id look at it as more of a reinforcement tank. Being able to get around to a flank that need help or being able to get to positions to turret break stuck in tanks
@@SilentJaguar so does anything thats armor can be overmatched. I mean i dont think it will be good. Just saying he kept saying about pushing positions but compared it to leo. And you dont do that in a leo

Hey QB, I need help with the obj 257. The accuracy of this tank is non-existent. My shells have not hit where I have aimed and are bouncing or completely missing altogether for most games played in this tank. What do I need to do to make this tank work accuracy wise??
They really need to significantly buff the camo, slightly buff the mobility and give them HESH rounds. Even then the tier 10 would be balanced and barely worth the grind. As it stands no way is it worth it if you have a leopard 1
i want to like this tank, but it needs more alpha damage or better reload time. Give it the same reload as leo or 490 alpha. As it is right now its just a worse leopard, and why would i want that when i can just play the Leo insted of this. This tank has so much potential for the people who like this type of playstyle, but it needs a buff WG!
unfortunately im done with all tech tree tanks so i have nothing left to do besides crew skill grind so ill get it and permanetly park it in the garage like most of the tier 10's
Considering what these British machines were meant to accomplish in real life, they really ought to have outstanding terrain resistances.

They should have a massive boost to terrain resistance on hard and decent on medium but be far worse on soft

Everyone: "Please don't release another EBR!"
*WG releases a medium tank with medium tank speed*
QB: "Oh god wow this tank is so slow"
I agree I think they were afraid of the reaction based on the EBR introduction and went way below subpar w/ this. IDK why it doesn't have HESH - a unique specialty of high tier UK tanks. IDK why it's camo is so bad (it's tall so yeah it shouldn't be OP but it's wildly undercamo'd).It doesn't have an autoloader/auto-reloader so why is the DPM so bad? I'll play the tank line cause I eventually will want to work up this tree but I'm not really looking forward to it.
BUT DAMN! ...I love the look of the Concept 5 and may have to go to WoT Hell to get it. 🤣
QB did you see the auto flip feature its also in 1.22
It was a nice concept ;)
Im slightly conflicted. Trying to compare it to a leo but you dont take super forward and aggro positions. Also i think while it is a sniper, i think id look at it as more of a reinforcement tank. Being able to get around to a flank that need help or being able to get to positions to turret break stuck in tanks
Ugh....ut would get blown to shreds so quickly 😂
@@SilentJaguar so does anything thats armor can be overmatched. I mean i dont think it will be good. Just saying he kept saying about pushing positions but compared it to leo. And you dont do that in a leo
British Concept No.5: *Exist
Japanese Type 16: Hello there!
dude this is the way of making the perfect video! amazing set up... keep it going i love it
Glad you like it!
no one talking about how he misspelt review in the title?
I think that what really neads work is tier 1 - 3, they should make them ww1 themed and way cooler and make you spend way more time in there with like ww1 tanks and towed anit tank guns
Long story short: Get a Leopard 1
Agree with QB, WGing blew it on this one.
Thanks QB
The side pods of the vehicles should count as space armour rather than being modelled as the tanks hull.
At least they are not the Disaster that was the French wheeled line
I think these tank's should have hesh and premium hesh. They'd be a lot more unique then just a worse leopard
Hey QB, I need help with the obj 257. The accuracy of this tank is non-existent. My shells have not hit where I have aimed and are bouncing or completely missing altogether for most games played in this tank. What do I need to do to make this tank work accuracy wise??
So what is this tank supposed to be--a somewhat speedy turreted TD with a great gun but terrible camo, armor and DPM?
i find it odd that it seems so slow compared to some other tanks and that the dmg is so low, i hope they buff it alittle bit atleast.
I'll ask the obvious. Is it a tank without tracks? I assumed it was either IFV or armoured car.
Where can I buy one as such?
Peview?
They really need to significantly buff the camo, slightly buff the mobility and give them HESH rounds. Even then the tier 10 would be balanced and barely worth the grind. As it stands no way is it worth it if you have a leopard 1
WG really needs to rethink about this tank line. At least the premium isn't overpowerd.
I think HESH is simple and unique characteristic this branch (and premium one) can have.
Considering that the Saladin only fired HESH, you’d think right?
Any time a wheeled vehicle is hit with HE , it should be rolled 3-4 times rather than limping away on one busted wheel
i want to like this tank, but it needs more alpha damage or better reload time. Give it the same reload as leo or 490 alpha. As it is right now its just a worse leopard, and why would i want that when i can just play the Leo insted of this. This tank has so much potential for the people who like this type of playstyle, but it needs a buff WG!
I think The Concept 5 is related to the Concept 3 that's in War Thunder
unfortunately im done with all tech tree tanks so i have nothing left to do besides crew skill grind so ill get it and permanetly park it in the garage like most of the tier 10's
