    dont count the threads. you measure from center to center on the top side for exact measurement

      I ended up marking the tires then measuring the front and back . Truck Drives perfectly straight👍👍

    Why dont you use a screwdriver and a hammer

    I greased the truck today and I discovered that my tie rod is loose.
    Should I replace both even if only one is bad?

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  3 года назад

      That’s up to you I only replace the one that was bad on mine . You’ll probably want to take it to get it aligned after

    I won’t recommend this slamming with hammer you damaged the suspension and issue getting worse,

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  Год назад

      The issue is being replaced with new . I wouldn’t exactly call, banging a socket, and a wrench slamming the suspension.😂

    Being certified mechanic for over 38 years, this video shows you (HOW NOT) to do things! SMDH! using Needle nose Vice-Grips??? To pull out a carter-pin? Using a big Cresent wrench to break loose a tie-rod nut? Then he uses a chrome 12 point socket? While using an impact gun???🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 I bet if you ask him how big his tool collection is? He could probably carry it with one hand,??? and it's probably a retired fishing tackle box!...😂🤣😂🤣

      😂 Fishing tackle box. You’re a funny guy. It would only be an insult if I was a 38 year certified mechanic. But I’m not making fun of what I have for tools would be like me making fun of you For using a shovel instead of using an expensive excavator. Typical “certified”mechanic . Do you know what is funny though? it’s not a how to video and I took it to get it inspection sticker after. Passing! So congratulations you poked fun at somebody for getting by with what they had and getting the job done👏👏

      @@DirtBrute Yeah if it makes you feel better ? If your going to put a video out make sure you teach people by doing it the right way with the right tools! You ever admitted that your just lazy so it wasn't like you were stuck in the middle of the Desert without any tools? And you had to call in your buddies to get you off the hook! So yea pat yourself on the back but people know the truth that your just a Want to be mechanic. Who does stuff half-ass!

      @@robertbenavidez7164 i’m not sure what you came here for this is not a teaching channel. I have no interest in being a mechanic I have no interest in being a mechanic this is a Vlog style channel not a how to . Either way thanks for stopping by Just to be a dick

      Did you get your certification from the bottom of a cereal box? Its cotter pin dumbass, don't try to criticize someone on their work when you don't even know the right name of stuff. Remind me not to get anything repaired by this guy. 🤣
