Hey Darren, great review. I said I'd give an update on the Harrows nx90 I bought. I never owned darts before that have that high level of a grip. At first, i had some trouble because of that. Now, they're my favorite and I started playing more consistent with them. Thanks for the top 10 list!
The pokemon of Darts - can you imagine being a Peter Wright fan and collecting all of his various darts... So much tungsten in such a small area will effect the local tides!
Pretty neat looking darts but wow there's so many Wright darts! Could use more aggressive grip but I'd give them a go! Great review as always Darren, looking forward to the giveaway!
RD is seriously overdoing the Wright stuff. Half of RD´s portfolio seems to be Snakebite darts, even those Wright hasn´t even been playing for an entire match. This is just milking the cashcow imho. I like Wright , I like RD, but this is really too much...
Yep I totally agree with you Chris, it’s taking the piss in my opinion, Wrighty will be playing with another new set by the end of this year mark my words I’ve said it first, I will never forget what Peter said after he won his first WC with the set he won with stating ‘these are the set’ and by then he has had another 6 + sets made!! But these don’t look anything special tbh the Venoms look better but RD need to knock this on the head it’s way over the top
Pozdrawiam.
They are kind of doing it with Price and Clayton too now. In Wrights case I think he has been to blame as much as RD but yeah it is a bit over the top but looking at it from a business point of view they need to recoup what they pay to sponsor these guys so it would only make sense to maximize profit potential where possible, at the end of the day we dont have to buy them :)
Yet another great review Darren. Interesting looking suit most straight barrel sort of dart. Keep up with those treble 20's 👏 Have you been working out? Those darts were certainly burying into the board. 🎯 Happy darting 🎯 35k subscribers should be so many more than that 🤔
Like the intro Darren! Lovely looking darts but I seem to throw best with Unicorn darts! I use Cameron Menzies darts or Chris Dobey darts sometimes. Wish Unicorn expanded some of their player accessories range though,Red Dragon seem to be best brand for that!
This is like those movies with never ending sequels. Peter's darts episode #898. In this one he tries a new dart with blue , purple and red and says he likes it but at the end of movie changes his mind . Stay tuned .....
Looks a pretty nice solid dart, and probably may see Snakey use these in the PL. About the tungsten percentage, the Red Dragon brochure states it's a 90% tungsten dart. Bit strange that the website doesn't state it but the brochure does.
I still don't understand how Wright changes his darts so much as a professional , if I won a World Championship with a certain set I wouldn't change from then on !
It's a pity that I could never choose one of Peter's darts, there are too many of them... Anyway, I want to ask you what is the advantage of having the center of gravity as close as possible to the actual center of the barrel? Am I so sensitive for nothing or is it really an important factor in choosing the most suitable stems?
In theory they say you should hold the dart at the balance point or near to it, I personally have never thought that was really practical because if like me you hold at the very front and its a long straight barrel dart you are never going to be near it. But it also depends on how it works with the way you throw the darts too. I dont think there is a right or wrong aspect to it but it just provides the info people may require to make a decision if its near to how they like it. A lot about darts is just trial and error and fine tuning things until you get a dart and set up you feel right with. In reality though if you spend a lot of time with one set you can learn to throw it better even if its not the optimum set up to your natural throw but I think its best to go with what feels right and comfortable to you.
looks like a nice set and it kinda reminds me of my gerwyb price blue ice set grip wise but yeah if you look at it you'd say there is alot of grip on them but looks can be deceiving ..what is your preferred set grip wise ?
there is a few grips I like, quite like micro grip but it does not last long, also mini shark grip but my old Target Sprints had a nice grip when they were new but its not as grippy now that was a king of oval knife edge style ring grip. Like the grip on the new Harrows NX90 though :)
Pretty much any Red Dragon dart can be a Peter Wright dart. I'd like to see him use his opponents darts when he plays another Red Dragon sponsored player.
Thanks! Well I quite like it but I cant say its the best, its about the right level of firmness for me and it looks nice although when I rotate it the graphics on the bottom move to doubles that you would hit more and are a bit distracting being so close to the doubles and its not the best healing of boards but seems to improve with a bit of use.
Funny just got the new red dragon catalogue this morning those spirit darts are a nice design although I dont think I've seen him using them in a match yet but i could be wrong.
Yeah, i know 😉 I only remembered that he had used them in front of the World Championship, so i skipped through the highlights of his last matches to find out 🙈. I'm a fan of Peter Wright and very interested in new darts. But over the years it's hard to follow all his changes 😅
@@danielschmitt6288 yeah I'm a fan of Peter myself and I am alway's interested to see what he's throwing. I'm surprised I didn't notice him using them at the grand slam or the world's as usually the first thing I look at is which dart's he's using.

Nice to sure pass 35 k. And theses darts i haven't seen him throw yet. Or we're these the darts he use in the Nordic tournament? Nice all around dart. all the best.
I thought they felt kind of slippy too, was not sure if it was just because my hands were a bit cold, but cant understand why the Red Dragon site marks them as 4/5 for grip, seems too high to me?
I gotta admit most Peter Wright darts do look great, but there's always one (most often it's the length) or several aspects about them, which just let me off the hook. This is strange as there's no other player with that variety of models )))) Well, anyway it's a great "classic" review. I was expecting something new or omitted as you've announced, but no - it was good old one )))

Yes lots of times, I used to draw back towards my top lip and that got very painful with all the scratches on so tried to go under my chin but I still hit my chin lol
