    I am in class 11th..n for searching for CA-CPT videos..I's surfing since 2 days..n I'v viewed approx 350 videos of different proff....I found Mr. Matt's videos to be best amongst them..n am sure I'll b able to crack CA Exam in just one turn if I continue to watch ur videos. Thank You So Much..n do guide me in future.

    Thank you so much. I am taking an online class where we have to really figure things out for ourselves and the book really does not explain things well enough and it is so limiting. This visual tool really helps.

    what do you mean where net income comes from? it comes from the income statement. Sales - Expenses = your net income.

    i cant find one video that teach you how to do financial statment what is this guy doing? he starts from trail balnces i didnt ven learn that and goes to t accounts what? in my book first it makes you make a financiall stment which goes on for pages then income balnce sheet and retained ernaings then t accounts in chap 2 so confused

    If sales were 50k; why then cash has 25k? If we say 25k sales were in cash then practically AR will have 25k Bal.! But AR here has got 8k! Can someone explain please?

    wrong. Net Income is:
    Sales
    - Cost of Sales
    Gross profit
    -Expenses (SG&A)
    +/-Other Income/expense
    Income before Income taxes
    (-) Taxes
    Net Income
    Net income goes to Owner's Equity section... specifically goes to Retained Earnings:
    Beginning RE
    + Net Income
    - Dividends
    Ending RE
