Thank you so much for making this content. I was admitted to LSA for the fall term (junior transfer) as a psych major (your psych class videos are also super helpful)! It’s my top choice but came in at the top of my price range so I’m just weighing my options. And this content has been very helpful in doing that :)
AA is fairly safe! There are occasional break ins, but very rare and I have walked in the dark and I've been fine so far. And there are a lot of events for transfer students to attend and engineering clubs that you can join in the winter as well to meet people!
@@MaddyKim That's good to hear first hand. Coming from a big city, and having lived in rural MI the last few years I wasn't sure what to expect. The crime maps for AA are *suspiciously* good for a city. Like almost unbelievable in a way that would benefit any kind of large organizations who might want people to move to AA...lol Do you happen to know where to look for those events? I've seen things for normal fall transfers, but coming to the winter semester seems to be kind of like the Wild West.
@@wilurbean I'm not a transfer student so I'm not sure, but there are sometimes emails that get sent out. Also connect with other transfers on Facebook! admissions.umich.edu/apply/transfer-applicants/support-transfer-students
