Steven. So much respect to you and your team for always pushing boundaries and adding more plugins to the Slate Arsenal AND still keeping the everyday bundle for the same price. Proud member of the membership. Thank you for the amazing products and keep up the great work! Excited to add these to my mixing arsenal.
I gotta say I REALLY love these plug ins and what you dudes are doing! You're really helping those out who can't afford expensive plug ins and we also get updates as well?! This is my 3rd week using them and since the first day I can tell that these were no joke! Thank you dudes!
You guys have amazing products. They are great for hip-hop and trap mixing also. I use your plugin on all the mixes on my channel. Thanks again and keep it up.

VTC are pretty cool new additions! But I just loved the AirEQ Earth module tip you shared with us, the bass just got instant definition and character with just a few adjustments! Thank you Steven & Fabrice!
I just came home and found 3 new plugins waiting to be installed!!!! This is great, so happy I bought the Everything Bundle! Can't wait to try them! Thank you Steven and all your team!
I mixed a commercial songwriter dubstep track for a client yesterday and before any eq or compression I just mixed the track with volume, then VTM into VCC into VTC, crafting settings, saturation drive first. I found that once I had worked the whole song like this my compression & eq use was a lot more minimal as I was able to work the dimensional aspect of the track alot more than i thought i could. This morning (i'm in nz) I re checked the mix & was pleasantly surprised & much depth was in the mix compared to the demo mix I was given as a guide. Your plugins are ridiculously good, but thats just me. Respect from NZ
Kamil Sliwinski i also want to know where the fg stress is. i signed up to slate specifically for this nearly a year ago. i enjoy some of the slate plugins, but the fg stress was promised.
Okay this demand for the FG-Stress is getting pretty old now. Slate release some of the best plugins on the market for incredibly affordable prices and all people complain about is one compressor. I'm sure they have their reasons as to why it hasn't come and hopefully it will!
maybe if people are complaining a lot, it's because there's a lot of demand for that particular compressor. Maybe slate would benefit from listening to that demand, or at least explain to their customers what is happening?
I’ve had the all access pass for about a year now and I’m disappointed in myself that I’m just now getting into these and tape machines and the mix buss plugins. I need to try these out! I tried the mix buss and tape machine on my last mix and was so happy how it came out when listening before and after I put them on!
No, it would be like putting the rent in a savings pot. When you've been paying for enough months, you use that money to claim a perpetual license. Obviously to own all plugins in the bundle that would take a very long time!
I just wanna say Steven, the work your doing is incredible, and the fact you have the everything bundle for yearly or monthly payments is just incridible! being a newer engineer/producer I dont have thousands of dollars to buy gear, and you are helping guys like me make a name and get quality sounding work, which otherwise would cost thousands for outboard gear, and compared to some other plugins is a great deal! If i can make a suggestion... I just ordered the everything bundle at the monthly rate of 14.99 a month, but I just wanna suggest that after a certain amount of time (whether paid monthly or yearly) after a few years type thing when a person has paid close to what it would be to buy all the plugins , maybe they could own them ? i know it gets tricky because you are giving access to any new plugins that come out and updates, so maybe for instance , every year(again whether a person pays monthly or yearly) if there a loyal subscriber and buying every month or year, maybe the price of annual subscription could go down a tiny bit each year, like even a dollar or two! Its a great deal to begin with I agree, but Im confident Ill use your plugins for my whole carreer for instance, so of course its a good deal, but over time would it not end up being more expensive then buying all the plugins? thats kinda what im suggesting! just some kind of deal for loyal customers! anyway, thank you Steven and all you at Slate Digital! Top Notch~ and please do not become like waves, where they overcharge and charge for updates etc! stay you and you guys are Legend! so exited to get better everyday, and use your plugins to enhance my work, creativity, inspiration and fun!
Steven slate: First we're gonna wake up a bit with some metal? Let's take a Listen. Me: Untrained metal ear. **jumps out of chair with hair standing and heart racing bc of hysterical screaming and gun shots(I mean kick and snare drums) lol
It's a bit annoying to have to manually volume compensate with the crappy youtube volume slider.. so if there's one thing you can improve upon with these videos is to be slightly more honest with the volume differences. Anyhow, good video! Top plugins!
Hi Niklas, check the peak levels! They are the same! But because these tube modules saturate and bring up low level material a bit, the perceived loudness can be a bit more! Thanks for the comments!
In the digital domain it is all about peak levels as that ceiling is hard and unforgiving. What matters is what you can do right beneath it. What I can't stand is matching i/o peaks in plugins and in demos; matching a low rms mix with a high rms mix is what is deceptive. The low rms mix is of course going to sound better when it is rms matched, it is going to be more open, more punchy, more dynamic, but it is all a lie, as the lawn mower is going to come along and cut all those peaks off, then you're going to be left with a hashy opaque mix with no punch. In digital, it is all about peaks and peak matching. With all that said, on my crappy laptop with crappy apple earbuds and my crappy damaged ears, I can literally hear no difference in the first final a/b. ;p
It's available now! You can download it from your Gobbler client, or just visit slatedigital.com/everything-bundle-installers and download the latest VMR installer for Mac or Windows.
I don't see the plugins on the gobbler app for download... I am a new everything bundle member. have had the services for about a week now and am new to pro tools. is there somewhere for me to see a tutorial for adding the new plugins as they arrive? I already have the other plugins operational and working.
I've been recording/mixing for about 15 years now and I am realizing that I might just not be cut out for mixing. I am not hearing a ton of difference in some of these A/Bs, especially with the metal mix. Maybe my speakers are crap? My room? My ears?
Since this is years old I don't expect to have this question answered, but I'll give it a shot regardless. I use VCC on every singe track since I mix entirely ITB and want some console wibe on my mixes. Would adding VTC these saturating plugins be going overboard?
push the VCC's & VTM to the extreme to hear the distortion tone & characteristics then back off to taste, I find that both sound better a lot more pushed. give your ears 3 secs between switching the consoles to really feel the depth of each.
Sounds great but I wish they'd volume match as it sounds louder, therefore better, when activated. Luckily I own the bundle and have had the opportunity to try and I do like.
can i use these pres with the ML-1 instead of the neve and the german one? i know i can but, it will sound cool? ir VMS is designed just to be used with these 2 emulations.
Can I ask, how does the VTC relate to your VCC and VPC plug-ins? Also, I noticed you kept clipping the stereo bus when you were using cubase. I know "there are no rules", but isn't it still a rule that you should have a brick-wall limiter on your stereo bus? Thanks!
Great Vid, thanks for the examples...BUT @9:20 something would you mind having less time between examples? The nuance had washed away from my brain by the time you played it with the plugins enabled. The same for 9:40 to 9:56. With you talking in between, I lose a lot of the differences. other than that thanks for these cool plugins.
Hey sound friends can anyone help me with a question? I'm new to the Slate plugin thing, and I have the everything bundle. How do I download this new plugin?
Nope, because they are all modeled on different circuits. It's the same reason why you have multiple compressors, eqs, reverbs... because they all bring something unique to your mixes! :)

pure greatness I love the products, and it makes home mixes sound like orchestra mixes
You guys have amazing products. They are great for hip-hop and trap mixing also. I use your plugin on all the mixes on my channel. Thanks again and keep it up.

Did someone hear the lyrics?
The Slate everything bundle winner here, and just in time for this new release. I am having a blast learning these plugins.
what it does to the snare on the rnb track is so beautiful!!
If you like the track, check it out at itun.es/us/1rzUgb . I wrote it for my wife and sang it to her on our wedding day!

Cant wait. Cheers again Steve and the gang.
killing the plugin game, great tutorial too!!!
Yes!!! Tubes!! Slate..love ya!
Slate Digital Rocks, period !!
cool stuff, but what about the FG-Stress? I've been waiting for that thing for ages!
Kamil Sliwinski i also want to know where the fg stress is. i signed up to slate specifically for this nearly a year ago. i enjoy some of the slate plugins, but the fg stress was promised.

Not a tenth as long as I've waited for FG-X2...
Another fantastic release. congrats guys!
Trying them out right now. Thank you slate team
Excellent work Slate team!
More bypass comparisons please.
love the Hollow Ground tracks! Avrinder is my boy! sounds great
I’ve had the all access pass for about a year now and I’m disappointed in myself that I’m just now getting into these and tape machines and the mix buss plugins. I need to try these out! 10:18 "SNOOZE"

"Audio Police" haha they definitely eat donuts.
VTC sounds amazing - thanks!
The answer to my other 6 focusrite clean preamps for drums!
At 3:21 I freaked out I wasn't ready Steve shit!!! LOL
really like the London version, very nice colour
$15 a month well spent!
Rent to own? How would THAT work you mean? Pay $15 one month and then you own them...?
No, it would be like putting the rent in a savings pot. When you've been paying for enough months, you use that money to claim a perpetual license. Obviously to own all plugins in the bundle that would take a very long time!
How about some A/B comparisons?
A real wizard! VTC FTW!
....the Hollywood, "Certainly No Airheads in this town" Ahaha, ROFL good one Steven.
I love tubes.
You're much better at the voice overs now man.. lol.. I loved the 'out of context' aside..
nice-one Stavo!!!
I love this guy.
I love your plugins. Well done!
Take a shot every time he says "tube"
Every time he says "vibe"
take a shot every time he says something
amazing plugins...respect!

How amazing! I love it!

Hi Niklas, check the peak levels! They are the same! But because these tube modules saturate and bring up low level material a bit, the perceived loudness can be a bit more! Thanks for the comments!
Of course.. that always happens, hence you always volume match by ear or LUFS, or RMS or whatever floats your boat. :)
In the digital domain it is all about peak levels as that ceiling is hard and unforgiving. What matters is what you can do right beneath it. let's meet the boys
This is awesome Steven thank you!!!
Can I use it instead of the virtual channel and virtual mixbuss or they are for different things?
I know the London is probably an ssl whats the Hollywood and New York?
GSCTV I agree with you. Maybe New York is API and Hollywood Neve?! Just guessing...
I'm pretty confident that the London is an EMI, that's what it looks like to me anyway, state already make an SSL plus SSL don't make valve/tube gear
+Liam Hardy Music *slate
Liam Hardy Music makes sense! Thanks!
GSCTV
New York= API
London= EMI
Hollywood=???
i have everythng bundle...WHEN AVAILABLE?
It's available now! You can download it from your Gobbler client, or just visit slatedigital.com/everything-bundle-installers and download the latest VMR installer for Mac or Windows.
That music makes me wanna bust a glass bottle over my head.

Oh Hollow Ground-Ill Fate, how I remember thee...
Can these plugins be used with BeatMaker 2 on the IPad
Are these in the everything bundle?
ROBERT CAMPBELL yes! Download the latest VMR installer from your account! Enjoy!
I've been recording/mixing for about 15 years now and I am realizing that I might just not be cut out for mixing. I am not hearing a ton of difference in some of these A/Bs, especially with the metal mix. Maybe my speakers are crap? My room? My ears?

Check out the second example in the video! It can be used like VCC OR... it can be used along WITH IT! :) Thanks for the comments.
SlateTV thank you 😛
Awesome ;).
since i updated my vmr reaper keeps crashing and won't load sdays missing file error no esr found
Since this is years old I don't expect to have this question answered, but I'll give it a shot regardless. I use VCC on every singe track since I mix entirely ITB and want some console wibe on my mixes. Would adding VTC these saturating plugins be going overboard?
No rules in music do what sounds right
Might be a good compliment to the VCC which is somewhat hard to hear the difference when I use it.
push the VCC's & VTM to the extreme to hear the distortion tone & characteristics then back off to taste, I find that both sound better a lot more pushed. give your ears 3 secs between switching the consoles to really feel the depth of each.

Updated:) Thank you
niceeeee
Calling the audio police you're got me lmao😂😂😂😂😊
can i use these pres with the ML-1 instead of the neve and the german one? i know i can but, it will sound cool? ir VMS is designed just to be used with these 2 emulations.
How are you guys setting up these plugs for tracking? Via aux?
What DAW are you using?
Logic Pro X
You can just put them right on the recorded track and track right through them
Ok add them as an effect!
Can I ask, how does the VTC relate to your VCC and VPC plug-ins?
Also, I noticed you kept clipping the stereo bus when you were using cubase. I know "there are no rules", but isn't it still a rule that you should have a brick-wall limiter on your stereo bus?

Benjamin Gordon hi just download the newest VMR update and it will have these plugins in the installer
thanks so much. Can't wait to hear the new ones. You guys rock!
who is the artist on the r&b song?
Hey man. That's actually me. Here's a link to the track : itun.es/us/1rzUgb
Hey sound friends can anyone help me with a question? I'm new to the Slate plugin thing, and I have the everything bundle. How do I download this new plugin?
Slate u win!!!!!!
oh baby..
1:21 typo for 'gorgeous'
music please
superb 🦁🦁🦁🦁✌✌
But... Won't these do exactly the same as the virtual preamp collection?
Nope, because they are all modeled on different circuits. It's the same reason why you have multiple compressors, eqs, reverbs... because they all bring something unique to your mixes! :)
Should've did a rock or country mix!
Yes! :)
