THANK YOU!!!! I already fixed my washer and saved time and money!!! It was going to take them 2 weeks to come out. With a family of seven, I can’t wait that long to do laundry, ha!
Heck of a video man. Thought we were going to have to blow a wad of money and wait a week on a repair man but I followed this video and had the same exact issue, good to go now. Appreciate this!
I was able to use a horoscope and find the blockage on my machine through the drain clean out. Used a coat hanger and some patience and was able to get it removed without disassembly.
All you need to do is lay the machine on its side and its extremely easy to remove the pump. Two screws and then be careful with the wiring cable. You do not have to disassemble the front of the machine.
this machine pedal storage may be if it doesn’t have the bottom drawer we can do it that way however, if you have one of your videos, you can link it here that way we all help each other Thanks for your comment and for your tips 👍🏻👍🏻💯💯
Thanks, I had the same problem with a second clog by the impeller of the drain motor. Glad for the instruction but the filming from your head made me nauseous. Thanks again for the help
I have the sameone ! This washer starts in any wash mode. Starts up drains a couple of times fills, spins for a few minutes then it says END on the display and doesn’t drain the water in the drum. I also fix appliances but this one is throwing me off! Any thoughts compa?
This washer has been the worst washer I have ever owned. It broke without a month of buying and took them 6 months to fix it. The door wouldn’t unlock. Now it won’t drain and we have now taken apart and praying this fixed it.
Okay weird issue. I have this exact model. The water will not drain stays in the tub. Then after a little like 20 minutes it will turn on and drain it all out. What could be the issue?
@@davidhansen9252 This is what mine does (starts then stops). I replaced the drain pump and still had the same problem. The only thing left is to replace the control board. Did you solve your problem? What was the fix?
@@kiheidude it was the main board. Unit was 18 months old. I called GE and asked for some goodwill. They said I had to pay for the trip charge but they’d give me the part free. So I agreed. Cancelled the service call and installed it myself. Bonus they sent 2 so now I have extra accelerometer, drain pump, and main board.

Well there’s not enough space to do all that maybe if it were in the garage yes
Thanks for the video. It was helpful. I found a pop can tab plugging my pump!

Did you ever figure out the issue mine does the same?
Did you find the issue
My issue was resolved by replacing the inverter board and control board.
Would a shop vac hooked to the drain hose have been able to suction a clog like that out?
@@elinsmier my husband tried that and it didn’t work

@@davidhansen9252. Thanks for the prompt reply. That was very helpful. I’m going to try installing a new control board and see if that works.
How can I test the drain pump
There’s a test mode for it but the drain starts up as soon as you start it
Not a bad job
This washer is terrible nothing but trouble and thousands in repairs
