- Thank you for watching Season Two, Episode Nine in our series Black and Blue where Joel and Greg are chasing their dream of qualifying for the Bassmaster Elite Series through the feeder circuit, the Bassmaster Opens. There are a total of nine opens to make the Elites-- Three in the Centrals, three in the Southerns, and three in the Northerns.

What was the reason Joel got the penalty on day 1?
Short fish. Sometimes the fish will touch the size limit when you catch ‘em but they get stressed out traveling to weigh in and will slightly shrink.
