I use a Wada bow grip and love it!! As an adult learner, it is invaluable in helping me hold my bow in good form, allowing me not to add "Now, how do I hold this bow?" to my long list of things to concentrate on while learning. :)

I love the String Vision bow grip. They are a great product and really promote a RELAXED, not tense bow hold. The best way to put them on is to first fold them in half, peel it back so the 'inside' is exposed, then you have a shorter surface to slide on. I have also sometimes put a tiny bit of cornstarch or talc on the inside of the grip before putting it on the bow. This makes it slide on much easier. I have not asked a luthier/bow guy if this is good or bad for the frog or the wood. Some bow makers/rehair guys feel that during loosening and tightening of the hair, the bow grip impedes this movement and puts too much strain on the workings in the frog. (The tightening screw). I'd like to know what the experts have to say on this.

Hey that cornstarch trick sounds pretty neat, I should try that sometime. Thanks for your input, so far anyone that's worked on my bow hasn't said anything but it's always good to know more info! Definitely gives a great feel in the right hand :)

Thanks for your video. Just received mine today in the mail. Will take some time to get used to, but, one thing I noticed as I was playing some music for an upcoming program this weekend that has a lot of pizz to arco and arco to pizz, if you have a quick pizz to arco, the rubber part nearest the grip gets in the way of the thumb making a clean changeover. I'm almost afraid I'll drop the bow. It almost seems if those two flaps that hang down could just somehow attach to themselves (or closer together) that would solve the problem. Have you had any issues with this or heard from others on how to remedy it, if so?
