Glad you like the dredge marines! Thanks for the S rating. Just so you know, the unsupported files are included. You just need to select if you want to download the UNSUPP or the SUPP folder. It just limits any unnecessary downloading.

Happy to hear you like the Space Bears! There are some really awesome stretch goals coming out for them that I've been working overtime on, so I'm really excited for them to be made public! Mezgike has SO earned that S, been a patron/tribe member of them for a LONG time now. They've come a long way in both skill as well as quality. Very very deserved
I like that you're going for the small creators first since they often get lost in the shuffle, but part 2 definitely needs the big bois like GHAMAK, Dakkadakka, atlan forge, station forge, and one page rules. Diverging realm, titan forge miniatures, eight legs miniatures, dungeons and dreadnoughts, and immaterium god are all also worthy of consideration!

OPR took their old versions down, and my guess is that they are going to be their last army to get a full release... So part 2 had better be a year or two from now.
The pace and editing on this video especialy seemed really polished, the sounds and transitions were great.

Mezgike is so my jam. The Dredge were what got me into Chaos Marines again after avoiding them for like 20 years.
Everything prints like a dream. I can honestly say that I don't think I've had a SINGLE print failure when printing Mez files- And I've printed a whole army worth of them.
And you're dead on- the hollowing is SUPER thoughtfully done. In some cases it cuts your resin use by probably half when printing the super-chonk Termie sized guys.

This was a great video!!! That was very informative and great timing as my friend and I are thinking up custom legions for Horus Heresy. Please do more of these. As some people who is new to resin printing this is a amazing starting point for finding solid printable files.

Loved this video. Excellent pacing, well edited, kept my attention the entire time. A lot of your recent videos have been something I can watch while doing other things, this one was much more demanding of my time, and I loved that. Also loved the special guest appearances throughout, always makes for a good video. Would rate S-Tier.
The only gripe I had was about mezgike not having the unsupported files in there. I am certain he has the unsupported files for those marines, but I may be mixing them up with another set. It could be worth re-downloading to check and see if they have been uploaded since.
I have been a supporter on patreon for puppetswar for ~1yr, and bought several of mezgikes files recently. They both have some really great files .

I'm loving seeing the file reviews. I'm also loving Mini Rater. I fully admit I've been using it as an excuse to take a gamble on STLs I don't need just for the excuse that I can make sure that creator has a review on Mini Rater. XD
I so agree on wanting renders in the download. Labeled renders in particular make my life so much easier. I also wish all creators would include their name on a master folder or on a main render. Renders and creators' names are things I'm constantly adding myself. (I also hate having to download a bunch of items separately. It's great to have it as an option, but as a hoarder, please also give me a file that bundles everything.)

I just printed a deathguard proxy combat patrol all from the dredge knights. They are the one thing, so far, I've printed that has been the most satisfying. His sculpts are gorgeous too.
This is a good idea for a video. You should do it again for other themes
maybe a good metric you could add is how well the models are keyed if they're modular.

I play mainly BloodBowl and since BB was ignored by GW for so long it has deep roots to third-party stuff and there is a lot of dedicated STL patreons. I gotten a few ones to actually include renders in their downloads. It makes such a difference. Even just my BloodBowl files are quite the collection now, and it makes it sooo much easier to have renders. I'm playing a lot of tournaments and play a new team each time (a new race basically). So I have a spreadsheet where I can see what Vampire teams I have, or what Khorne or Norse teams etc. And nowadays I just added renders myself but it's so much easier to go into a folder and immediatly see "ah, not what I'm looking for" instead of having to open stuff to look at it from all sides. So yeah, the renders part is so easy to do for the creators and is such a big deal with a big backlog of STLs (and yours must be insane).
Love what you're doing, like the more off-the-cuff videos you've been doing lately. Still looking forward to the next big scripted one, but its cool to see content of yours in the meantime. Great solution! Keep going!
Fantastic work. I really hope the rating system takes off. For 3D print noobs like me that sort of information is invaluable.
I had trouble with Mezgike. Perhaps an older model. Had so many supports they welded into an unbreakable blob. Awesome video this very helpful.
Amen to all that you said about file organisation, it looks INCREDIBLY unprofessional, for something you paid for, if there is no renders, weird names for files and inconsistent structure.

I prefer the option of downloading the supported and unsupported files separately.
Now with the Minirater; since it is meant to show the ease of printing it would be a good idea to add a tick box for "Easy to break parts". Some creators have a habit of making extremely thin free standing parts.

I love your videos and find them super informative and I imagine others feel the same but, I can't say I am the biggest fan of "locking" your Discord behind support tiers.
Discord as a platform is an absolutely amazing tool to connect with like-minded individuals to share love for our hobbies and as such I personally feel closed door Discords hurt the collective network for hobbyists. While I personally plan on supporting you that there are many others who may not have the means to do and as such won't have access a part of our collective community. I won't pretend to understand the way you may have your Discord set-up, as I have no access yet, but if you are keen on locking away supporter features away perhaps look into supporter role to lock specific channels or something similar.

Hmm, I dunno. Two bucks for lifetime access to an incredible community seems pretty fair to me. Maybe if financially supporting the channel rubs you the wrong way, maybe instead think of it as a filter to keep bad actors out of the Discord who would otherwise lessen the experience for everyone else.
@OnceinaSixSide I mean if it's life time access even after one stops supporting that's pretty chill. I know some Discords out there will just straight up boot users after they cancel their tiers or whatever have you.
While watching the Puppet wars rating, when you were questioning the file org, maybe you could turn that Y/N into 2 questions. Were they organized, and then are they organized well. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.

hot tip, you should be able to select the supports in blender or preferred poly modeling package in face mode by double clicking the support and delete.

But as I am a Limited company producing precision 3D design/3D print for the railway hobby, the 12" high Corus Corvax from the WH40k Wiki will be available...."to look at in my office as 1 of 1. Next to the 2ft high Catapult C2 to from mech-warrior and a 5ft long Eagle Transporter from Space1999 (when I can afford the fully welded up aluminium frame). However my own sci/fi table top stuff may be appear for release in 6+ months..

You can just print direct scans of Second Edition Space Marines.

Note on the first and second Marine, you can remove supports in blender you can separate almost any creator's support and resupport them.

This might sound like a horribly nieve question, but how do you get those previews of the 3d files in the windows file explorer? I've been 3d printing for years and have never even found this as a thing 😂 love your videos by the way, I don't even play wargames but I print and paint so many minis and resin models as they show off the ability of resin printers so well. Love your videos by the way you are far my favourite youtube channel hands down. Absolutely love your style and content 👌
You can right click in the window and change the view to icons to get that lil preview
