me and MegaMarine in the discord have been helping Shortcake (mod dev) replace some ai generated card images and change a few card names up to be more fitting (the stone shield from a previous video has a new name, same effect), add battle icons, change the battle names to fit more with the base game's name scheme, but mostly just image assets. hope you enjoy seeing the changes as they release :)
I've been playing this mod a lot, and I've really appreciated the changes made so far, especially the improved game stability when it comes to the enemy clunkers. Thank you guys for all of your hard work!
Megamarine here, glad to see you like the changes. So far most of my changes arent implemented but they will be eventually. If you like my art i also did art for Sleet Storm and the WIP mod Moondial!

I think that the snow card increasing health is the justification for not being able to use it on the gobling. It would be insane.
Saw the thumbnail and then read the title. I was gonna say, that what the Pengoons fight looks like for me every time. I really like hiw it says "some enemies will be upgraded" but they really meant all of them.

Does the game make a distinction between "kill" and "destroy"?
I was expecting some discourse about how this was dangerous because of all the times in the past when you said you would almost Skullmist tea your hero and how this run might reinforce that inclination. Zote scoffed and said he would have lived.
there's no distinction, i cant imagine why there would be in this game. gunk gobbler says +1 on destroy but gets +1 when a unit is killed, most likely this is just an overlooked edge case in the mod

Oh yeah, frost water does seem like a decent way to counter tiny tyko/toaster in frost gang replacement fight, but you kinda do hope to snowball so hard you shouldn't need to take that fight seriously

(totally nothing to deal with mechanical differences that don't matter in the vanilla game, he reads the cards he obviously knew)
I think infernoko died because you sacrificed him, instead of him getting defeated by the enemy. Also, his wording is different from similar working units, example chikichi who says "when sacrificed, summon chikani"

Pootie is another card that says "when destroyed", and Voyix sacrifices his ass all the time, and the "on destroy" effect still procs. How the interaction played out here and your explanation both don't make sense to me, and calling it a 'knowledge diff' feels pretty passive-aggressive

Hello! How do you make it so you always fight the base Frost guardian? I've been looking online but can't find the answer and I wish I could just reset the frost guardian :/
You need to defeat the heart of the storm with a luminite vase in your deck which will only appear when you have 10 bells active.
