I think you pointed out everything that I had in my mind. Something's I would like to add is that buying tickets to travel into Ethiopia in January are expensive because many people travel back home to celebrate Christmas or Epiphany. I will recommend also to visit the national museum, its probably outdated but you have to compromise between Unity Park or National museum.
oOoooo thanks for watching! i dunno what kind of vibe i got from ethiopian men tho, but laid back is definitely not how i’d describe them. you got a 💎!!!
I really thank you very much introduce our country, images change even if we have many problems but we have enormous potential and historical places all over the country.
No question Ethiopia so beautiful country, the culture, history, everything is so stunning out there also Ethiopia the man kind birthplace, beginning Christianity this my suggestion when you go to their don’t consider only visiting if you step that country u will be bless as well.
There are many things I love about watching Christine’s travel videos, one of which is she makes me feel like I’m actually traveling with her to experience the country scene. It’s a wonderful way to see the world without having to do the traveling yourself. Thanks Chris ❤️
My allergies drive me crazy! Pollution sets off my asthma as well! Food looks great! Addis Abba is on my list! I don’t drink coffee, but when in Rome...if I drink any caffeine, I’m up all night
Great video and tips. I appreciate you sharing. You brought up great points of traveling alone and getting around and hoping you are not being taken advantage of. That would be my biggest fear especially when traveling solo.
If you're a coffee lover I recommend tomoca coffee, also there is abisiniya restaurant you can enjoy with traditional dance, food, culture also history so cheat it.. I just saw your vedio I was like don't finish I loved your video your awesome 😍😍I'll tip you more places to visit in addis Ababa in your next video
You didn’t mention tej, the Ethiopian “mead” - honey wine. It is sooo good! I lived in the country for two years and drank tej often. The quality varies widely and the best is probably only available in expensive restaurants these days.
Thank you I appreciate you! To answer your question: within Addis at the "main hotels, businesses and establishments" - yes using a credit card (like mastercard and visa) is fine. Obviously there are lots of local markets and vendors in which I was paying cash only. Yes - getting money exchanged was easy (there are lots of banks). I hope that helps!!
The conflict in Tigray was something I was highly aware of.. eeeee... it's been going on a long time. It's interesting because all my friends living there felt safe, but I felt on edge.
