I just got done watching the movie (it only has like a week left on Netflix so I decided to watch it) and I’m gonna be honest I didn’t think the movie was funny (which is weird cause this is my sense of humor kind of movie). Theirs like 3 scenes that were funny. Being the one where George drops the turkey (Idk y but the way he says fuck and his face he makes is hilarious), the one where hailey says impeccable gaydar, and the one where her mum asked about scissoring. Idk maybe The movie was a bit too serious at times for me but hey at least nobody died and we got a happy ending. I did find them laying in bed together really cute tho (beautiful moment). Also I utterly hated the roommate (can’t remember his name), he was really douchey and wasn’t a good friend. Like I’m sorry but who goes to a friends family thing and not tell their friend their going, he should’ve left after she told him she told him she didn’t want him there at the time (especially after he found out she was gonna come out and he was getting in the way of that), I also thought it was incredibly stupid when he said I didn’t know if u and Hailey were serious (like c’mon dude she brought hailey so she could meet her family and let them know their dating so yea their serious), and he was kinda trying to force something with Lauren (which is not cool). He’s one of my least fave characters I think I’ve ever seen and maybe that’s y I didn’t like the movie. Idk sorry just thought I’d give my thoughts on the movie don’t hate me plz.

They asked if i was sure, why i denied it for years, literal years, then said "I don't support that lifestyle, but i love you regardless." I kinda like the "I don’t want to be gay". I do think it's a phase many of us go through in the begining of first coming out to oneself, when you just think how much easier it would be to just be straight and 'fit in' and not have to go through the whole coming out process. I think it was a quite genuine line, but it doesn't make that much sense coming from a woman that seems to be much further on ther 'internal coming out', seeing as she has been happily (?) dating her gf for 6 months and seems very confident about that and that part of herself.
You guys should watch Chloe, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Mullholand Drive, Heavenly Creatures, Gia and The Children's Hour (but that is depressing af)
