Fun fact: Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) directed this episode. Carol was wrong to use Lydia as bait. She's already gone thru so much sht. RIP Siddiq. Another fun fact: Dante was a member of hilltop in the comics and ended up getting with Maggie.
Crazy that Dante was supposed to have been banging Maggie right now and instead was made into a whisperer spy. SOME CHARACTERS from the comics failed to live up to their counterparts. But this one was almost a completely different character from the comics. Theyre similar in name only, which is why making him a Villain was a huge surprise to even Comic Fans. People really suspected that Siddiq was forced to behead his own friends before the Dante twist. And everyone felt Carl's sacrifice was for nothing.
@@Rknowles813 that's what I'm saying. He got to have a baby. Teach other doctors. Saved lives. That's not nothing to me. Despite him not living as long as his Comic counterpart. But fans only see the base layer of things sometimes.
RIP to Siddiq I feel so bad that he couldn’t fully get over his trauma before he died :( His actor Avi Nash did a great job in this episode though and I really grew to like his character.
Not only was Dante a Whisperer He was the one who forced Siddiq’s eyes open when Alpha beheaded the fair goers It was the tongue clicks that Dante made that made Siddiq put two and two together.
It still blows my mind that they didnt boul their water at all!! Even with whatever filtration system in place, ALLWAYS BOIL YOUR WATER JUST IN CASE IN A POST APOCALYPSE WORLD!!
@@lisainthecold4287 maybe he knew about the filtration system in Alexandria and just figured it would filter out whatever walker shit fell in the stream from outside. But he didnt know dante fucked with that.
With the whole Carl/Henry/Saddiq thing I always just think, it serves as a reminder that really anyone can die. If someone dying doesn’t upset you then the show isn’t doing my its job tbh
I agree Carol’s plan to show Lydia to Gamma was a good one but she should have let Lydia know what she wanted to do There was no good reason for Carol not to tell her beforehand.
Siddiq made the connection because of Dante’s continuous tongue click the same one he did on the night of the pikes This is also why Alpha knew they crossed the border during the winter storm and the satellite crash because she has a spy Also in 10x01 Siddiq stares at Dante’s lips and the camera zooms in on his lips That was literally a sign right there.
This take is dumb lol. Siddiq lived for SIX more years. In the apocalypse, that's a lifetime. Also, killing Carl was not the biggest mistake the shows done lol. Casting Chandler and not rescasting him after like season 4 was.
The idea of Eugene, Gabriel, and Saddiq all being involved with Rosita isn't bad but it is kinda crazy that the writers did it all at once; especially given how Saddiq had his development happening aside from the baby.
Siddiq’s trauma was pretty heavy Some fans speculated that Alpha has forced him to cut off people’s heads but that turned out differently I never suspected Dante though it’s pretty interesting how things turned out.
@@quirkyquotareacts ofc!! i've watched a ton of y'all's reactions but haven't ever seen your hair down or out of a hat,, it looks great! u should wear it like that more often :p
I still don't understand why Aaron never told anyone what he saw happened to the water. He saw the Walker in the water and then everyone got sick at Alexandria!?
Carol is doing everything she thinks is right which probably will backfire on the group (like Michonne said) Dante’s a Whisperer which felt like a kick in the nuts and Siddiq died which is sad Man what an episode Great reactions as always Jason And Chance.
Yay another pointless character death (Carl) from a character sacrificing themselves for a new character (Sadiq) just for that character to die two seasons later with little to no character development good job writers. Fun fact with Sadiq's death this is now the third time in three season 8,9,10 that they killed off a character that makes it to the end of the book in or around a midseason finally just for the shock value
Dante definitely cared about Siddiq and didn’t want to kill him you could hear the sadness in his voice when he said I didn’t want this not you and the water Siddiq fixed the water and told everyone the water was a valve problem not contaminated water the valve was turned to undrinkable water instead of drinkable water the whole time and Carol is just very wrong in her treatment (using her and not telling her) of Lydia And overall actions lately she’s becoming a stupid person and Carol was not doing it for the good of the group she was doing it for the good of her revenge that is her only focus.
I liked Chance's " Siddiq's got Carl's plot armor" comment . . . yeah that worked out well for Carl too.😂
“Don’t kill Dante!” Be careful what you wish for 😂

This episode gives so much more depth about what siddiq saw, he was forced to watch them die and that’s just so crazy and traumatic

When i watched this episode when it aired i was shocked when i found out Dante was a whisperer. R.I.P Siddiq
"Heres Negan" will be such a great episode
This the guy Carl died for , what a shame bro 😞

her nephew didnt die she killed her sister for alpha the baby is at hilltop because daryl and connie saved the baby
Doctors have no plot armor in this series
I was so mad when I learned that Dante was a mole. Hmmm angered me big time

Thanks, cap obvious
Yeah, Siddiq got Carls plot armor lol
Its a known fact that Angela Kang made the Daryl-Dog Shirtless Cuddle Scene just for sus af Jason.

two seconds later......

Carol’s doing everything she’s doing for revenge and it’s going to start taking a toll on her and Daryl’s friendship if she don’t listen to him.
Dante was the Whisperer who held his eyes open during the killing and it was unconsciously triggering him.
nice catch on the water labels. keep that in mind
Rip Tara, Enid, Henry, Frankie, Dj, Tammy Rose, Rodney, Addy, Ozzy, Alek and now Siddiq

You guys gotta do episodes 8 & 9 as well as episodes 11 & 12
they will.. lol those come after episode 7.

Exactly. Also Carl's sacrifice pushed Rick to change and for folks to end a war.

1. It was like 6 years from Carls death to Siddiqs death. It's not like it was 6 weeks later
2. They don't always have to follow the comics
