Volkswagen Bug Relief Print

Welcome to a new photopolymer relief printmaking project. This Volkswagen Beetle print highlights the styles of classic bugs, or type 1, throughout the years. The image was printed using my etching press onto Speedball Arnhem 1618 printmaking paper, using Speedball Pro, black relief ink.

The plates used in this print were produced by sending my artwork to Boxcar Press, who created the photopolymer plates.

I think this style of video works great when you have already explained the process in detail. I hadn't seen the original video so will go back and watch it, it was hidden in the description though so I was confused for a second, maybe a quick card at the end of the video with a suggestion link could help point people to it. Anyway that was a nice technique for different window styles without having to use lots of material and a great overall design.
