    I am so glad I am following you .I hope you are prepared to sell a complete package for the Phazer motor and can ship world wide. I am in the Philippines but hope to be back in Canada soon to purchase my Phazer. Keep up the good work !

    Hey again Ben!
    Been a while (last time I was bad mouthing your super weird and unsettling video format) but really GREAT to see you've gotten the CNC production going (I figured the Phazer 4 Stroke would be a hit; there are just TOO MANY drawbacks to the 582) and are creating a fully marketable Phazer Conversion Kit company!
    Here in Wyoming things are pretty much the same; still broke (grossed $5506 last year), just completed my first work project of the year (1 day), which is pretty much normal (not much work I can do for the first 4 months of the year), still cleaning the place to get it up and sold to European/Japanese Hunting Clubs, so the move to Alaska is still on if the health front doesn't get too much worse!
    The really great news here is that I'm STILL planning on acquiring a Part 103 plane and getting BACK up into the air (with a Phazer is the plan); the Firefly and Firestar planes still look great, even though they are not aluminum (Hummel would be my preferred choice, but NO low wing thank you.....back country only for me!), but Chip's Merlin Lite shows promise, but the shekels required are formidable! Maybe by the time I have the jingle the slobs at the FAA will increase the Weight Limit on Part 103 to a REASONABLE 500lb-625lbs..........they've promised what is essentially a 'Constant Speed Prop' (they refer to it as 'One Level Control' used on FADEC equipped engines) which would REALLY increase the performance of everything from Part 103 and up and really save on Fuel Costs!
    The good news is that next week I'll be finally publishing my novella on Amazon KDP after doing five rewrites and 3 complete read throughs after initially finishing it........we'll see how it goes....need to find a LOT of space/fantasy/genetic modification/arachnophile afficianados/as out there to spend $3-$4 on an E-book.....
    I'm happier than one of Ivar's proverbial clams that you are making the Phazer Series REAL.......I may never get to that point, but it does my heart good to see someone with skill, motivation, and hard work succeed......and that is what you are doing!
    Lastly, allow me to thank you for going back to REGULAR videoing......it was nice to see in fight details without getting sea sick while laying on the couch thinking I was in the midst of an F5 hurricane!

    Wondering how much hp. I I As many pilots looking for 4 stroke conversions for the 503. 582. This is lookin pretty good . Dont fade away like many others. Kinda wondering how this would work on my challenger 2? I would also like a rundown on your search for a good phazer engine? Ill be heading to your webb site.
    Flying big mountains here reliability and suficiant climb is a must.

      @@bkairys Who’s selling the Phazer engine for these conversions? Living in Southern Arizona, we don’t see a lot of any kind of snowmobile.

      If it can bolt into a Chinook 2+ theres no reason why the Challenger factory wouldn't ok the mod. Here's hoping.

    Very impressive. Have you thought about making a adapter for the apex that hangs down? I am rebuilding a searey and would like to put a apex on it, but don't want to raise the center line of thrust.

    So basically to put the Phazer on something like a Hawk Arrow II
    1. Convert wire harness
    2. Get adapter plate
    3. Get/Fabricate Engine mount
    4. Get clutch
    5. Modify/Fabricate Exhaust
    6. Radiation Setup?
    Not sure about the radiator. Any modifications or just hook up some flexible tubing? What model clutch?

      Rk400 clutch that is commonly used one the rotax engines with the c-box. Would be great on a Hawk!

    Ben, I just bought a Kolb Slingshot, recently built. I have a question about the rivets in the rudder hinge. The builder didn’t use all the marked rivet points. He did every other one. How is your rudder attached? Every rivet point used?

      Nice, always wanted a slingshot! Yes my rudder has all rivits used. Should be easy to drill and pop them in.

    Very impressive!!What ratio gearbox because a 582 is a 6500 rpm peak and ur running quite a bit more with the yam.

      The phazer engine has a internal gear reduction at output shaft. My output shaft rpm to gear box is about 7k rpm, simular to rotax rpm

    Is the Apex in your plans for the future with a tractor configuration? Considering the Rans S20 as a potential project.

      next project is a Phazer in a kitfox Iv 1050. Apex was too heavy for a 1050 gross.

      130ish lbs for everything. Rotax 582 complete weighs 122 lbs in comparison.

    I have a honest question for some one out there who has a down to earth answer. Now that there are light aircraft flying with Japan engines, why won`t one of the big 4 show some interest in making a dedicated aircraft engine from the factory. They could do it all if they just would.

      It's actually quiter than the 2 stroke it had. Just prop noise now..

      @@bkairys yeah, with the muffler the engine is very quiet, the biggest noise now is the prop, but what can be done there?
