Right? I’m also still wondering why in the absolute f*** Jackson Carman is still on the roster, dude is a BUM in every single aspect. Poor work ethic, poor performance, and a poor attitude. Like, there’s literally NOTHING, not a single fckn thing about the guy that’s good and worth keeping around. Cut him already. Also, we now have THREE starting olineman who have won Super Bowls. OBJr won 1 in KC, Karras won 2 in NE with Brady, and Kappa won 1 in TB with Brady as well. That’s 60% of our oline starters who have won rings before, so that tells me that the issue with our oline isn’t the players as much as it is coaching. How many free agents have we signed the last 4 years that didn’t pan out? How many draft picks have we wasted on “busts”? All I’m saying is we need to take a closer look at Frank Pollack
I was at the Vikings game, it was electric in the last 2 minutes! They did what they needed to do pretty much. The only thing they really need is a quality veteran corner to help CTB and DJ Ivey develop. Also, you can never have enough Pass-rush in the afc north lol.

Honestly we still need abetter O line, one dude who's really big but had been out all of last year but one game isn't enough, we need to protect Burrow, period. If we don't he will be ruined in a couple years and we will be the same old same Bengals

@@smason844 got bailed out and carried by the roster. Nobody in their right mind thinks Zac Taylor is a good play caller, he has no business calling plays whatsoever. I’ve seen this guy dial up plays where it’s designed to be a pass to Drew Sample in a crucial moment of the game. He’s literally our worst pass catcher, I’ve seen him drop more balls than he’s caught. He’s more of a blocking tight end, and plus he has like zero agility or elusiveness so even if he does catch the ball he’s not going to get any YAC at all. The Bengals oline has been atrocious for years now, and Zac Taylor STILL wants to call plays where Burrow has to hold onto the ball longer than he should in order to let multiple routes develop deep down the field with no check down routes at all to fall back on if Burrow is getting pressured. There is zero creativity in play design, and their scheme is too predictable. I’ve seen games where the run game is clicking and he suddenly just stops calling run plays for no reason. He’s a good locker room coach, his specialty is giving motivational speeches and boosting locker room morale. He’s also pretty decent at scouting talent because the Bengals past 4-5 drafts have been pretty good. His weakness is 100% calling plays however, I have more faith in Burrow to call his own plays. Almost every time he audibles it ends up being a really good play

The Bengals were 23rd in explosive plays with Burrow because he was hurt and shouldn't have been out there. It had nothing to do with the talent around him.

Definitely not a mistake letting Bates go, he’s overrated AF. Has never had more than 3 interceptions in a season and he was asking for way too much money, more than he’s worth. It’s because his agent tends to wildly overrate his clients, Higgins has the same exact agent and look what’s happening, he’s asking for more than he’s worth too

Huge Joe Burrow fan, I'm not really confident in the Bengals as I was a couple of years ago. They still got the worst defense, coaching and o-line in that division. if Joe goes down, you can pencil them in for last place in that division again. I think a major change is needed like coaching staff, can't keep living off that superbowl appearance a few years ago. They have become incremently worse each year since. The only reason I'm still following the bengals is because my man and favorite player Burrow is still playing for them.
Also why would they let mixon go when the line is the reason why mixon couldn’t explode everything isn’t analytical I think we need a better running back yeah chase is fast but he hasn’t shown what mixon out have done so I don’t agree with that at all

I'm sorry, I really like Zack, but calling him "one of the best play callers in the league" is aa bit of a stretch, man lost us our first game vs Baltimore because of his play calling, dude called 3 wide receiver screens in a row, and went for it on 4th instead of taking points. Like I said, I really like him as a coach, but he's a questionable play caller
And I think the issue with our secondary was it's youth and inexperience. We had 2 second year players starting, neither of which started the year last year, Cam played after Chido got hurt. (or in Dax's case never started at his position) and 2 rookies starting for us, Jordan Battle and DJ Turner, both of which have a ton of potential, and both of which only started playing more 1/2 way through the year. (yes I know Chido was there but he clearly was not the same player he was before the ACL injury, which sucks I like Chido, but that's why Turner started playing more)

Rankins is a 3T, not a nose tackle like Reader was. They’re gonna need to find a quality replacement for Reader

They lost those close games because of the Defense. Bengals need Quality depth on the OL. They need to draft OL at #1. If they lose 2 OL starters, they are not winning anything. They need to Get a LG. Volson is a disaster. They need DT and a CB.
couple DTs that are good in the 2nd-3rd rounds, hope we get xavien howard, and we could draft jackson powers johnson at 18 and have him play LG until teddy k retires. he could also probably teach volson a few things
