I didn't break in my 2023 zx6r. I rode it normal in low power and changed the oil for Royal Purple XPR synthetic racing oil at 190 miles. Then put it in full power. Thankfully i haven't had any issues. Absolutely love my zx6r
run them hard af after the first few heat cycles, then change oil, then ride normal for 200miles, change again. Dont run syth at first, run full mineral
When I picked up my 2020 at 1 mile it has been on TC1 and Full Power since leaving the dealership. Has never felt skiddish but only tasted the real powerband 2-3 times. Each time I am shocked once the needle ticks past 10k.
what up bro new sub here. I have a 13' 636 and absolutly love my bike. got her with 4.8k on her. now at 5.5k. dont be scared of the bike. power mode and ktrc is there to keep you safe. backround on me. been riding dirtbikes all my life since I was 6. in now 33. first bike and only bike is my 13' 636. just got a full inspection done and new fluids, plus dynoed it. thing is it came with a power cammander 5EV on it. whitch is cali compatible to keep it restricted for Cali regulations. doesn't need a power comander. it need a flash tune. it gained 3 hp after all that. but its all good. the bike is amazing. dont be scared of full power mode. leave it in ktrc 1 and F mode and be east on her and you will be fine. easy on the trottle. she wont power wheelie. on 5'6" 150lbs and i feel so fucking comfortable. like fuckin rossi man. just take your time. steady throttle in corners. gas out of corners. slow before corners. for slow movments use counter balance. look up Moto jitsu for help. it will all come together. I will get a go pro soon for my motovlogs and you can see what I go through, as to where I live. in NM by the way. but yea man. she is a gentle giant who has power just have to take it easy on her. have a graves slip on and its loud just the way I want it. have fun bro. be safe.

Bro i pulled mines since I got it at 3 miles smh I think it’s fine 🫣🤔🥲
I'm gonna agree i just hit 600 miles have not got y first service yet and im rippin 150 not maxing it out but letting her eat forsure
I know it would’ve probably been fine but I just wanted to do the break in to be safe
Doing it on my 2020 Busa is like having your own personal roller coaster. 🤣
I’m happy for ya! Enjoy! Traction control 1 will give full power without power wheeling. It’ll hover off the ground, but it will not power wheel.
how many miles for the break in? i got a 2023 636 and im at about 500 miles
Check the manual
