Sharing the airfield with the Hang glider tow group, I thought it useful to understand the performance and limitations of the flexwing microlight that we fly along side. It was brilliant flight at the end of an epic days flying.
Nice flight. I'm glad he took you up, flexwings/trikes are fun. I'm a fixed wing pilot as well, but have the much fun in a trike. Hope you get to go up again. Good times!
It is tempting to fly that way but storage for me is an issue. It was great to finally fly with the tow group and see the pros and cons of the way they fly so we can operate better together.
That was very cool. I've been watching many weight shift flights lately. Thinking it cud be the better way to travel to PPG Flyin's. Carrying your gear in a pod or backseat. Your proximity to that airport is the ticket to an alternative way to fly for you.
That looked fun Giles. I had 6 hours as "PUT" with Graham Slater at Clench common Marlborough but it was many years ago. 1995 I think. I could afford to keep it up but I quite happy to be a paramotorist now. Wouldn't mind a flex wing though.... Did the pilot land a little long I wonder? Sandy:))

Awesome video! Looks like fun! LuvLavLiv!!!
It was a huge amount of fun. I was so lucky to get a flight.

You never know what the future holds.
Awesome Giles.
Cheers Mitch. Hopefully I'll see some video of you flying soon.
Fingers crossed my friend. Got another couple of locations to recce this weekend, so hopefully they come up trumps.
Plenty of power there! Looks like fun

Thanks for the kind words. The only issue I have with owning a microlight, is storage. Its ridiculously expensive. Maybe something for the future.
What an experience. Thanks for sharing. Do you think you would trade in your paramotor for a flex ?
No, not at the moment. My biggest issue is storage. I'd need to hangar it, which costs a fortune.

Sandy, you are a man of hidden talents. I enjoyed it immensely. If Hangarage wasn't a problem I'd probably be flying these years ago.
Hands up if you thought Gerry was about to run out of runway! ✋ I can definitely see a PeeBee or similar in my future.
I did, and I was on board. Gerry made it a very enjoyable flight which brought to a close a wonderful day.
