I love the Volvo S90, it's a really really amazing car. The design of the interior and exterior is amazing. Not too busy it's simple and regal, plus it is a rare sight in India which also makes it more special.

That's exactly what I wanted: Safe as possible, comfortable, elegant, good to drive and yes, with a lot of fun! Fun depends for each individual. Nowadays, I'm father of two lil boys (one with 7yo and another with just 1yo). This car is so far exactly what I was seeking for. Sportiveness? Germans all day long. Elegance, comfortability, reliability and safeteness? Volvo.
I think German cars all above in case of comfort, elegance and sportiness, Volvo is better for reliability and safety. I personally think that the former qualities are more important for me, otherwise it depends on person to person.
The audio test was great. Loved it.

Where there is Fun the Safety lags behind. With Volvo Safety is the priority. S90 is not your type of car, you speak so fast even your audience's heartbeat goes up. Try M4/M6 next time at a speed of 260 KMPH and then we will talk about Safety. By the way, I have this car and it's much beyond BMW/Audi/Mercedes I have driven in the past. You were right when you said that it's so comfortable that you can sleep while driving and that's the reason there are so many alert features. The mileage of this car is pretty decent too.

Volvos are good, but if you have that sort of option with the Beamer, definitely get the BMW, if you aren’t a huge car fan you’ll start to like driving when you drive the BMW, corner it hard on those long drives, they don’t just say “Drive German” for no reason, Swapnil.

Just change the design of the rear portion and you get one of the best looking sedans in the segment. It doesn't look bad but rather dated at the rear.
