This past BET WEEKEND was one for the books! Taco Tuesday has brought us so many great moments we wanted to get back to that.
Kiandra has a tone that is golden!! Listening to her sing is so soothing and she just makes me want to listen right away. Now singing Whitney in front of Brandy is not an easy thing but she did it and Brandy was pleased!!! Get into her yall!!

I'm not sure why so many commenters are giving Kiandra a hard time. Most people who have the vocal range for Whitney Houston's music need practice to hit the notes perfectly. Her performance was outstanding. She clearly has the range, just needs to practice.

She’s good. She just has to learn how to take breaths while hitting her night notes and manage her range. Aside from that she did pretty well

I agree her breath placement is a little off. It sounds like she’s out of breath the whole time. At the bridge she actually done well and I think because she stopped singing to ask if it was the bridge she was able to catch a bigger breath.

Some of these comments are exactly why a lot of artists are so critical of themselves, dealing with anxiety, and scared to sing in front of others. Because y'all are so judgmental. Allow singers to grow in their gift.

Honestly it just sound like she was nervous and isn't aware of her potential. I've never heard of this singer before. Brandy doesn't have Whitney's range but she sang this for Whitney's tribute and still killed it.
She was so amazing on Empire. That voice is beautiful! A different song would have been nice. There will only be one Whitney Houston, ever!!!

Ouch! I can tell her voice is pretty but this was absolutely not a good song choice. Sounded strained and unflattering. Would love to have heard sing a song that’s suited for her range.
Uh oh.....she was a Lil above her ability on those high notes, if u can't reach the note don't attempt it. U gotta know ur ability and voice. Bring it down an octave or put the song in your key😳 cmon girl. Good voice but needs polishing and more vocal training
