Hey Nick. I really enjoy your boating videos. Getting my first boat. A used 28 GW that will remain in Freeport Babamas. I’ve been trying to find a video that walks through the important stuff in a boat (bilge, batteries, etc ) as well as how to take care of a boat in salt water (cover, wax, etc ). Would love to see you make a video. Keep up all the great work!
Great video and I really like that you mentioned together with the distance the expected time of arrival many omit to do that and cool of you to take your mom with you for the ride
Video idea… I live up in North Carolina so crossing by boat would be a pain with trailering all the way down to Florida then across. My wife and I want to know what other options there are as far as getting to the abacos or any other Bahamian islands. Flight options, best value (not necessarily the cheapest) on the travel to and from the islands, and of course reliability to come and go from the islands to mainland US.
@@NickOlinde thanks for the update. My wife and I vacationed in TC for 10 straight years before the hurricane in 2019. We stayed at Ocean Villas, right at the beach level villas. We wish our old unit got rebuilt….but it didn’t.
@@jeffcarinda1719 Yall should come back!! Treasure is open for business and extremely busy! There are plenty of places to stay and we now have several dining options, boat rentals, golf cart rentals, car rentals, etc.
@@NickOlindegood to know! We are planning a trip in August. Staying at a friend’s house. They haven’t been back since the hurricane. I was concerned about dinning options. We are in Vero Beach. Thanks!
Boat would run better if you put the bow down, and went a a bit faster. Waves were hitting middle of your boat the entire time. A 41 Bahama should up those waves.
Believe me, I had her dialed in. Sometimes there is no picking where you come down when you come off a wave. I could’ve slowed down instead of taking it at like 33 kts but she still ate it up. In an inlet slop like that sometimes you just have the let the hull do its thing. There was an unavoidable up and down but the boat didn’t slam and just kept going. I had over 800 hours in our first Bahama and now 1000+ in this one so have her pretty dialed in.
It’s the boat in the Bahamas! Makes for a much bettter thumbnail pic than just a basic shot from the action camera taken from the video that doesn’t show anything.

I love Melbourne. I didn't realize people actually crossed from that far north. Awesome. I learn something every time. Thanks, great video.

Update on rebuild on Treasure Cay?
Right now there really is not a whole lot to update on since my last video. Everyone I kind of still in a holding pattern for more news to come out
