Little note foe y'all just so You know in the future, don't automatically assume that every Kpop idol you see is Korean/From Korea. There's a lot of instances where like for example in this case Yunjin (the red head girl) is from New York. There's a lot of international idols and sometimes their not even korean, Yunjin is Korean-American. There's idols who are from Australia, there's idols who are from Hawaii, Germany, there's idols who are from Thailand, China, Japan etc. You don't gotta be born and raised in Korea to be a Kpop idol :) There's a group called BLACKSWAN who has a African member.
Or there's groups like NCT where pretty much every group member is from somewhere else, like Mark is from Canada and Johnny is from Chicago etc. Its honestly kinda rare these days to have a Kpop group where EVERY member is born and raised in South Korea. One of the only ones I can name on the top of my head right now is BTS 😭 RM speaks English, but that's just cause he taught himself by watching the TV show friends, every member of BTS are born and raised in SK (I know there's more groups where every member is from SK but BTS are just the first that come to mind)
We don’t try to assume, this was our first time hearing each member speak and were very surprised as she differentiated herself. Very cool nonetheless!
btw sakura is like extremely popular in Japan and considered a huge celebrity there, but she still chose to move to Korea and debut with le sserafim. the group wouldn't have existed without sakura.
He debut first in iz*one in 2018 until 2020 he returned to Japan and returned to korea in 2022 for te new group
