Thank you very much for the tutorial, I've been looking for a tutorial that explains things in a didactic way like yours for a few months. I'm even practicing my English. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much! I had tried to set this up on my own and it lead to half the messages not getting read by the TTS. Setting it up the same way you did seems to have fixed it though as now all my test messages are going through! You have saved me so much time of trying to figure this out alone with my single brain cell, I love you.
Hi, I just wanted to say that I found your video INCREDIBLY helpful! It just took me a minute to figure out what exactly was wrong when I tried to do this on my end.... Thank you for the guide! You're a genuine life-saver!
@MisfitAndMieko_Comic there is! There are different ways to do it, so it depends on how you want to split who gets which voice. The way I do it is: 1. Have a still non reactive image in OBS under the reactive of the TTS bot 2. In SAMMI, decide how you want to split who talks from which TTS bot (this part completely changes depending on who you choose) 3. Using 'trigger pull data' check who is sending the TTS request 4. Use IF statement to say if it's x or y person change visibility of TTS bot A to ON, TTS bot B to off and use TTS voice X 5. In the ELSE section of the IF statement or in its own IF statement, you do the opposite (switch on/off the TTS bot and use a different voice) It's a lot more complicated, but it's also a lot of fun to have multiple!
@@FranxVasilios THANK YOU FOR REPLYING!! I’ll see if I can get this to work tomorrow! It is a bit difficult for me to follow written instructions (I like visuals) but I really appreciate it, and I’ll see what I can do! Thank you! 💖
@@FranxVasilios sorry to bother, but I’m having a hard time understanding this… I’m not very tech savvy 😭 it starts getting confusing around step 4 for me. Can I have more clarity? If that’s possible 😅 I appreciate your help so much!
Let me know how you go! There are also free options like streamer bot, but with SAMMI's other capabilities and stream deck use I think it's 100% worth the $5
@SynestriaVI you could use IF statements to do it all under one button, but it may have issues mixing things up/not working properly I'd recommend having an alert deck with all of those buttons so it doesn't clog up your main deck^^
Hihi Hiki, yes SAMMI works for RUclips as well! You can trigger the TTS from a few different things on RUclips. (I'm away till Sunday but if you want to know what in specific I'll let you know then! Otherwise SAMMI is free and you should be able to check there when you make the button. If you need any help let me know :)
hi again! I just got home and checked, you can have TTS play triggered on RUclips by either: Chat messages (can make it certain people only), new Member, new Subscriber, Superchat or Super Sticker :)
@@FranxVasilios woah nice, thank you for the confirmation, can you make video tutorial for that? Please, i'm kindda confused with Sammi (´ . .̫ . `)
@hiki_komori_ch im so sorry, I got caught up with other things and completely forgot about this :( Have you had any luck, or would you still like a video?
Thank you for letting me know, this is my first tutorial so I'll be more clear next time! If you add a new OBS source you should have the option for application audio capture (beta) right at the top, you'll want to use that to record the bridge you have open in the browser Let me know if that fixes your issue!
@@FranxVasilios that fixed it thanks! I had the bridge up in obs but I got it working now that its in a browser! don't know what browsers exactly it works on but I noticed it does work on chrome while not working on opera.
Yay 😁 The bridge should work on all browser types! I recommend using one you don't use often to avoid OBS playing any other browser audio^^ glad you got it working :)
@@FranxVasilios Thank you for a great tutorial! I was able to get this working, however would this configuration channel all of Sammi's audio, not just TTS? Just wondering if I am missing something. I use Sammi as more of a backbone to my stream, it runs transitions, plays animations, and both channel point redeem sounds as well as standard chat commands.... lots of these things play audio as well, does this method separate the TTS sound from the other possible sounds coming from Sammi?
Accidentally had the bridge open in OBS from a previous tutorial. Now I'm unsure how to disconnect the bridge as in Sammi I'm constantly getting "A second bridge is trying to connect." Is there any fix for this? Thank you for the tutorial!
Hihi! You can remove it by going to OBS > Docks > Custom Browser Docks and removing it from the list! Let me know if you have any issues after trying it^^

Is there a way I can have multiple characters use TTS? Or can I only have one?

If I want my TTS pet to read out the redeems, subs/follows and raids, do I just have to make a button on the deck for every single one?
