agreed! though they made not have made it big (yet) like other groups (twice, for example), im glad they are doing pretty decent and they are a steady group, they always receive a lot of love and are pretty well known - let's hope they can keep on rising and shining, i will always be there to support them ♥
They have been doing great. Since Up & Down they haven't' had a single song that wasn't topped the charts or won music shows.
@@Arriss3 i didn't mean that they're unpopular. I mean I don't think they're popular as much as they deserve. I don't wanna make a comparison, but FOR ME many of the girl groups who are not as talented as Exid even half are more popular then Exid and I'll never understand why.
@@bold89103 well I'll help you to understand:
1. EXID is not a young girl group anymore, they debuted 6 years ago and their youngest member is 24 years old, the age of most of the leaders of those "untalented girl group" as you call them.
2. EXID concept is sexy or girl cursh, that's why they are super popular on western side (especially on latin america) but are not really appreciated on Korea.
3. EXID's songs have the same vibe since Up and Down and that seems their biggest "issue". Their song's estructure is like the sexy/low start (usually Hani or Junghwa), then LE's rap, then the bridge with Jungwha and the explosive chorus with Hyerin and Solji. I like it, it is their signature but except for NRTD and Lady the rest has this style and the general public is tyred of them playing safe.
4. They aren't at their peak anymore so they rely on the fans they earned in this 3 years since their blown up.
Hun, Exid is doing more than fine considering that they aren't from a big company and they are all old enough to quit the idol industry. Solji is know as one of the best vocalist in kpop, LE is know as one of the best rapper in kpop, Hani is the king of variety shows, Junghwa has being working on her acting career doing webtoon dramas and Hyerin will find her path. Don't compare them to those popular idols groups who are manufactaredby a company just to be consumed by the audience like a product, there are thousands of boys and girls groups like that and they are super popular because they where made to be like that, while EXID found their own way to shine as a group full of talented women who are beyond that "PREETY BOY/GIRL GROUP TYPE"...

Solji is dancing hard and her vocals were stable AF even on her first performance as part of EXID. I stan a queen.
MBC being the hero no one asked for but we all needed
Loved every title track of theirs since they debut and always wanted to watch the live performance of "Every Night" and also "I Feel Good". Although the chances was slim, I still attended their Fan Meet when they came to SG hoping for either of the song to be performed. They didn't sing any of it, but I got a signed album after getting chosen by Junghwa. It was a memorable day as I saw EXID for the very first time. Then they came to SG recently for Hallyu Pop Fest and I finally got to hear "Every Night" live in person and I must say, it was worth every seconds of my life to be sitting at the stadium with fellow L.E.G.G.Os and enjoying their performances. Whether EXID continues their contract as 5, they WILL FOREVER be legends to me as they became a top tier group after Hani's LEGENDARY Fancam and they deserve all the love they have.

Seriously, nowadays you can't find rookies who sang so well in their first stage. Look at Hani and Uji vocals here, they are go great, so stable. For me, always, EXID is going to be a group with full of talents, even LE was in masked singer, and she is a rapper. In EXID, anyone can be a main vocalist.

팬이 찍은 하니의 직캠 영상과 솔지의 복면가왕이 암흑기였던 EXID를 살렸고 하니와 솔지가 인기를 견인해가다 LE의 랩실력이 추가로 발굴되었다. 솔지의 건강문제로 위기가 찾아왔지만 리드보컬 혜린의 노래실력으로 메인보컬 솔지의 공백을 메웠다. 솔지 복귀 직후 EXID는 활동을 멈췄지만 언젠가는 다시 5명이 뭉쳐서 활동했으면 하는 바람.

This shows how well EXID has aged and matured. Much of their early work was good and shows off the members' talent, but the composition of their more recent work has improved so much, and they have kept putting consistent effort and passion in over the years to maintain that growth. improvement.
