So glad we found you guys and are excited to follow along on your new adventure. We’re doing our first ‘long term’ adventure starting in one week. We’ll be gone for almost 90 days. We have TMobile and have never had issues with them in al the years of our travels and no big surprises on our bill upon returning home. This will be our longest trip so we’ll see how it goes. We love Brian & Carrie (who live very close to us here in WA State), John & Bev, Rob & Allie and Tim & Amy! They’ve all given us so much valuable information that we’re incorporating on this trip. Great job on the videos and looking forward to more. Blessings!
It has been less than 2 months for us so far, but so far so good! We haven't had any issues with our T-Mobile service at all. We have had 2 cycles of billing and there we no surprises. Thankfully. You follow all the same people we do. We love all of their content and eat it up! We do miss the videos from Tim and Amy, but are thankful for their FB group and the community they have created there. Thank you for the kind words. Wishing you a fantastic time and safe travels on your upcoming trip.
@@RetiredNomadAdventures please see my comment about long term international service with T-Mobile. Just don't want y'all to get stuck without service.
I agree! My Gerry and I are a few years away from retiring and we are documenting from the beginning. Doing the research alone has been exciting! Doing the videos has been a challenge. We will all make our dreams come true.❤🇵🇷🙏🏽
@@IramisandGerry Good for you for documenting from the beginning. I wish we had started a little sooner. There was so much involved in preparing for this adventure and it is easy to forgot all that you have done when you have moved onto the next thing. The videos and editing are for sure a learning curve! We struggle often. 😅 Like you, we enjoy the research and planning!
@@RetiredNomadAdventures thank you! The videos are a struggle. I am have been doing all my editing and will continue until Gerry can spend time doing them. I have you a subscribe and like hopefully you can do the same. I love to support small channels like our and keep learning from each other. Enjoy the travels and looking forward to seeing more videos!
Great to see what you've come up with for phone and medical insurance. 👍 We buy our phones unlocked, about every 3 years. Smart to use your employer medical insurance first.👍 We are going to be self insured. By taking out a specially planned whole life insurance policy geared at cash value. We're putting $6,000 for the year or $500 a month. We can add a few thousand extra each year as a paid up addition. We are 4.5 years out from when we start. Just take your yearly deductible as your base then double your monthly medical insurance payments to come up with how much of a policy you should get. We would have paid $250 a month each so we went with the $500 a month. You can do something similar with a high yield savings account if you don't want the whole life .
Well done again! Thanks for sharing. Just a video tip, I would have loved to see an insert of the prices or information to digest all the number easier. That may be too much to do. if not, I use the editing program CapCut and it is pretty easy to use. Once again, wonderful!
@@the_sustenance_cyclist Great tip! We like to visually see the numbers also. We’re getting more comfortable with editing as we go. We completely agree with your suggestion and I think you’ll see an improvement in our future videos. 🤗
Daphne were you a teacher or librarian? As a retired teacher librarian, your venue looks awfully familiar (and you mentioned a parent gift in your packing video!)
Great video, we are about 2 years out from starting our full time travel and really appreciate the advice from other couples!
How exciting! I loved the planning and anticipation. Two years will fly by! Thanks so much for watching!
We are about 4 years and we start ours. We are documenting the process now. Good luck on your journey. It will be here very soon 🙏🏽🇵🇷💗
Thanks for the content. Two of the more important things that require some planning. Appreciate your decisions and perspective.
These were two of our biggest concerns. Thank you for watching!
