I’m a reformed angry black woman. Truthfully I was severely depressed and angry with the life that I created for myself due to my poor choices. I was out of alignment with who I knew deep down I was created to be. Once I took accountability for that and got therapy, I was reformed & could begin anew with a more gentler & hopeful spirit.
I am a black woman and I work in a health center. She is 100 % correct. I get tired of dealing with the ghetto, miserable behaviors of my co-workers. It isn't charming. They say I think I am better because I professionally carry myself. We have to do better my African American women.
I hate that "you think you better than me" cop out, no self-awareness whatsoever. And of course the natural progression is them wanting to intimidate and fight you. Pfft 🙄
yes, also to add.. many of these females feel entitled and they are projecting big time. They can be a fellow employee not even management and be even worst with another black female coworker. It is like I do not know what you going through, but if you come over here you will get regret it.

It’s definitely cultural norms that we have got to do away with…it’s disgraceful! The attitude, the bullying, the crime, black culture as a whole. It’s cringe af. When I’m at work or in public and me and a stranger happen to lock eyes, I smile and say hi. It does not cost to be nice.

I live in Chicago and just today I called a Black local well known restaurant to order dinner and the sister that answered the phone was trifling, rude, and acted like I was bothering her. I just hung up the phone and went to a different restaurant. I was not on the mood to deal with someone non professional and give them money at the same time!

If I walk into an establishment and the only person to talk to are BW, I just walk out. If there’s someone else of another race or a BM, I’ll go to that person. I’m just tired of getting disrespected by BW for no damn reason.

Listen, as a black woman in my 40’s I JUST told my husband that I will never work with women again and I mean NEVER! All women are difficult to work with but black women have serious problems in the workplace. Just my opinion.

I'm a truck driver as well and one time I was at the shipper and I saw this black female trucker which i rarely see, so I spoke to her and she straight up ignored me 😅
The worst part is that they spend more on wigs, makeup, and lashes when they desperately need to spend that money on therapy. I didn’t realize how horrendous it was until I worked customer service. Even racists treated me with more respect that angry black women. It’s insanity
This is sad! I'm a black woman and I didn't realize this was such an issue because I'm not like this. I have always smiled and said hello to any black man in passing. Now that I know this is not the norm out there, I make sure to do it even more. Now I will say that I've encountered black men that just ignore me. They look at me when I say hello and they just keep on walking. I did have a situation recently where I smiled and said good morning to a black male employee and he seemed shocked that I was pleasant.

As a 59 year old black woman. I must sadly admit, that I find it difficult to develope friendships with other black women, or the black community in general. My parents both had college degrees, we were middle class in a mostly white neighborhood. My sister and I were trained in the arts and raised with Biblical values. I loved science, especially as it relates to aviation and I enjoy reading and writing. Somehow, this caused me to be branded an uncle tom and a sell-out since the 1970's when I was in junior high school. Overtime, I basically gravitated towards whites when choosing friends and romantic involvements. The blacks were always angry, jealous and had no sense of spiritual or emotional direction. I am confident in me and what I have to offer and I won't let ignorant, bitter people sway me or cause me to feel bad about my choices. If they wanted to improve their lives, they could...A first step, would be, to get back to church and live life according to Biblical standards. God intended for the woman to be a WIFE, not a "baby-mamma". And until you're married, keep ALL parts of your body clothed and inaccessible to men. God made a woman to be with 1 man; not many. If you've made mistakes and I have too, ask the LORD to forgive you, attend a church that teaches the Bible in-depth (expository teaching), become active in your community and if it's God's will, HE will lead the right person to you but angry, bitter people of any race, are a turn off. Often times, you were your own worst enemy.😮

I work in healthcare and deal with this same thing. From black women who are patients and coworkers. I just keep my energy positive and avoid negative people.

As a black woman, I’ve observed that women who mainly live and have friend circles around the black population only are the worst. Usually, if you grow up living around a multiple group of ethnicities you don’t act like that because you’ve been exposed to people who bring positive energy to your life.

I live in Chicago and just today I called a Black local well known restaurant to order dinner and the sister that answered the phone was trifling, rude, and acted like I was bothering her. I just hung up the phone and went to a different restaurant. I was not on the mood to deal with someone non professional and give them money at the same time!

I'm a truck driver as well and one time I was at the shipper and I saw this black female trucker which i rarely see, so I spoke to her and she straight up ignored me 😅

This is sad! I'm a black woman and I didn't realize this was such an issue because I'm not like this. I have always smiled and said hello to any black man in passing. Now that I know this is not the norm out there, I make sure to do it even more. Now I will say that I've encountered black men that just ignore me. They look at me when I say hello and they just keep on walking. I did have a situation recently where I smiled and said good morning to a black male employee and he seemed shocked that I was pleasant.

As a 59 year old black woman. I must sadly admit, that I find it difficult to develope friendships with other black women, or the black community in general. My parents both had college degrees, we were middle class in a mostly white neighborhood. My sister and I were trained in the arts and raised with Biblical values. I loved science, especially as it relates to aviation and I enjoy reading and writing. Somehow, this caused me to be branded an uncle tom and a sell-out since the 1970's when I was in junior high school. Overtime, I basically gravitated towards whites when choosing friends and romantic involvements. The blacks were always angry, jealous and had no sense of spiritual or emotional direction. I am confident in me and what I have to offer and I won't let ignorant, bitter people sway me or cause me to feel bad about my choices. If they wanted to improve their lives, they could...A first step, would be, to get back to church and live life according to Biblical standards. God intended for the woman to be a WIFE, not a "baby-mamma". And until you're married, keep ALL parts of your body clothed and inaccessible to men. God made a woman to be with 1 man; not many. If you've made mistakes and I have too, ask the LORD to forgive you, attend a church that teaches the Bible in-depth (expository teaching), become active in your community and if it's God's will, HE will lead the right person to you but angry, bitter people of any race, are a turn off. Often times, you were your own worst enemy.😮

I work in healthcare and deal with this same thing. From black women who are patients and coworkers. I just keep my energy positive and avoid negative people.

I don’t experience this much in the IT field. Most of the black women in my building carry themselves with good energy. I just haven’t experienced too many black women with bad attitudes in IT. Women in IT tend to be more laid back and chill
As a black woman, I’ve observed that women who mainly live and have friend circles around the black population only are the worst. I used to live next door to a BW and every morning you could hear her throughout the building screaming and cussing at her kids to get ready for school. Them kids never started their morning off with love, peace, or breakfast. It took me a min to not hear her voice haunt me after I moved. I know her kids are traumatized.
