Thank you for the heads up on the Christmas with Sulky. I won the grand prize, a spectacular collection of metallic threads, spool holder, and carrying case from Sulky. Very nice.
I’m doin the summer soirée too. I also am using the same fabric but I’m doing mine just like hers. I love your choice though for the twinkle lights block. I also did her Home Is quilt along that just finished
Becky, I LOVE LOVE all of the Halloween stuff you showed us. My 55th birthday is coming this HALLOWEEN. Yep I’m a BOO BABY. HAHA. I’ve never made anything Halloween, so I’m due for some fun projects. Thanks for sharing!
Just to let you know I do not have embroidery machine but when I see chat I always watch. I really enjoy all the information you give and I just like to hear you talk.
We bought a new boat and it came in 2 weeks ago. Still under the carport because it has rained EVERY DAY. And the 10 day forecast for the next 10 days (from 7/10/21) is for Thunderstorms EVERY DAY! I’m in Louisiana and this is the wettest spring and summer I ever remember. Also, one of the guys at work before I retired, gave me one of those telescoping magnets, and I can’t do without it.
Becky, you are my absolute favorite u tube person. Love you. You are soooooo intelligent and you share your knowledge with us. We have had lots of rain here in Ling Island, NY.
Becky, I am so excited that I won the Yazzi bag! Thank you so much! I played the video for my husband and he said that's great and was impressed that you even pronounced my last name correctly. :)🙂
Congratulations to Marie & Christine!!!!!😎🤩 Love your video! I absolutely love that you said how you give yourself an hour (by timer, no less!!😘) to sew! What a great tip!!!!
Becky could you help me please ? The patterns for kimberbell an sweet pea never talk about using like steam a seam on applique species. Do you have to use it and when? Please help. I never miss a video. I've learned so much from you thanks a bunch
Thank you for sharing where and how the Yazzi bags are made. I bought a small one a few years ago and it holds an enormous amount. It's 10x6x4 with 4 storage pages and storage inside on front and back covers. I use it as a sewing travel bag for going to retreats, classes, and such. I had to laugh about the feet storage page(s), because I have so many feet for my machines, I'd need probably 4 or 5 of those things, but I have a storage bag that Pfaff put out 25 years ago as a sewing bag and is still going strong with all my parts and feet and pieces in the storage pages, much like Yazzi's quilters bag. I thought seriously about that Yazzi quilters' bag when she announced price was increasing, but decided I really didn't need it. Is so nice you can have give aways for your followers. Love your chit chat videos.
Thank you for sharing the count down to Xmas project. I registered for the video cast. Are you going to do a sew along for this project? I will love to sew along with you 💕
You are an instigator... LOL Now I want to do some new projects and I promised my self to get my list worked down before anything new. LOL Love, Love, Love the show and tell! I went to a wedding and of coarse had to stop at a quilt shop for a few fat quarters ( they don't count... right?) Now I'm thinking of new projects. Oh well, I'll catch up some day.
If I May ask-what weight of thread do you use when you machine embroidery and do you change your stitch length? I know you talked about the length for your long arm.
I use a standard 40wt thread (usually Isacord) when I embroider. When you're doing machine embroidery, the digitizer determines the stitch length and the machine just does what it is told. So no, I do not (can not) change any stitch lengths. Thanks for watching!
Becky I have really enjoyed all of your videos. I really want to try using my scan n cut and simply appliqué but I am not sure my scan n cut will work. I have an older model a CM650W. What is your opinion? Thank you for all you do.
It will work great! I still have my old one down at the coast and it works perfect. :) Unless you want to blame me to buy a new one,...then of course, you need a newer machine. ;D
Fun video today. We need details on that black t-shirt with the patriotic sewing machines. Did you make it with the Scan and Cut and some vinyl? Stay dry!
Please say what threads that the StellaireXJ1 or the other big brother machines use. I’m having a terrible time choosing threads and my machine keeps having fits.
@@PowerToolsWithThread hi Becky, fellow Texan here. I’m using a StellaireXJ1 and was trying to make a composition notebook cover. Can you please explain to me why after completing the back and front then laying down the first line of the spine there is such a discrepancy between the lengths? Yes I checked to see that in fact I was making the 6x10 covers and spine. Would I just line up with just the top? Or just wing it and make the spine, see if they then line up and go for it. With your urging I have the embrilliance program and it is amazing, WOW you can see everything before you start. I was using sew what pro but this beats it hands down. I am loving you videos and have learned so many new things and tricks. So I thank you for sharing your time and talent. If there is someplace you buy your threads online through, isacord, please let me know so I can at least give your site the credit. Thank you again from the bottom of my 79 year old heart. This old dog is learning new tricks every day.
Becky, I have a older Babylock Ellure and a new Scan and Cut(have not used it yet). Do you know if the gnome mug rug will work with older embroidery machines? Thank you.
Thank you for the heads up on the Christmas with Sulky. I won the grand prize, a spectacular collection of metallic threads, spool holder, and carrying case from Sulky. Very nice.
WOW! That's FABULOUS! Lucky girl! Sulky is an amazing company and I hope you do some great things with your winnings! Congratulations!
I ordered the count down to Christmas and signed up for the video for today! Can’t wait!
Thanks Becky! You’re the best!
I love the sew machine feet organizer. Would be helpful as I Often carrying my machine with the extension table and not be accessory tray
Would love more scan and cut videos

Congratulations ladies on winning the Yazzi bags!
Wow we can use some of that rain over here that’s for sure!
Thank you, Becky for sharing all of this cool stuff. I love it all. Have a great week. Diane
Love this item. Can you tell me what the name of the wall hanging in the back with the American Flag on it
That's a wall hanging from Kimberbell called Red, White, and Bloom. I did a sew along for it. There's a playlist. bit.ly/3yN0Ch6

No ma'am, you don't have to use it. It's a secret weapon of mine!
@@PowerToolsWithThread is it because it helps with puckering
I got a sulky mystery box. It was great. Loved it

Hi Becky! Just wanted to pop in and say Hi! Love the Old Made fabric! Now back to prepping my fabric for M&B!
Great seeing you at the Allbrands Live Carol! Thank you!

@@PowerToolsWithThread Where do you get other sewing/quilting t shirts? Love them!
Love your pets on parade quilt! Like your idea about sewing ah hour a day. On a sewing block right now🥲
Please say what threads that the StellaireXJ1 or the other big brother machines use. I’m having a terrible time choosing threads and my machine keeps having fits.
I have such good luck with Isacord thread and Organ embroidery needles. Schmetz needles gave me fits.

As a nearly 50-year old woman, the Old Made quilt hits a LITTLE(okay, a LOT) too close to home!!!
It was interesting to hear who and how the Yazzie bags are made. Glad they are not made in China!
FYI: The link for Frightful Night is flagged as possible fraud site.
Thank you for that. I have fixed it. Appreciate the head's up!
Thanks Becky.
Love your videos. They always brighten my day
Becky, I have a older Babylock Ellure and a new Scan and Cut(have not used it yet). Do you know if the gnome mug rug will work with older embroidery machines? Thank you.
It certainly will! My Babylock Ellegante 2 is older than your Ellure and it will work fine with it. :) Have fun!
I love your T-Shirt!!
