1987 Magic Kingdom - Restored 8mm Video - Small World, Scenery, & More!

We restored this 8mm video from November of 1987. Ths largest section is a Small World ride-through but there is tons of great scenery, visuals, and small shows taking place at MK. Enjoy!

My family first visited Walt Disney World in January of 1987 this same year. At the time they were still decorated with their “15 Years” celebration banners, signage, and music. We would get our first camcorder just 3-4 months later, so we only have still photos from that visit. But I wish we had had a video camera just a little earlier. The footage would likely look just like this. When we came back in 1989, we took a LOT of video. I still watch that to this day. But the very first trip in 1987 was very special.
