Nice. Best 10th scale tires come from AMain Hobbies: Upgrade RC brand Dirt Claw tires. I've owned one set for 4 months, running 4-9 packs every week. Tread is excellent, grip is great, gluing perfect. Highly recommend. MJX also need to address their ESC LVC settings: 2.8v is their "low" option for LVC, and most hobby grade chargers won't charge a battery if any cell is below 3.0v I'm happy there's more competition in the 10th scale arena, that usually results in less stagnation and more innovation. That said, i am not a fan of MJX due to past poor customer service and quality control. But I'm happy to see more options for customers, and i probably would uave bought this 7 months ago when i got my first 10th scale. MJX need to step up their warranty game, or maybe there is no warranty, i dunno. In my past MJX experience, a representative claimed to be sending me replacement parts, but i received none. Don't let this put anyone off from snagging this truck in a sale, as for less than $250 this truck is probably worth it. Seems the electronics get warm, which is a little weird considering those 3 fans, and they need to use standard LVC settings. Their default LVC is 3.0v which, if you run a small or low c rating battery, you can easily pull too many amps and LVC that battery below 3.0v, in which case, you're out one battery, unless you want to risk "jump starting" it with one of many methods.
4s if for air control definitely a good thing. My tires have been fine on 4s, avoid diffing out. I did burn up my motor, the motors are too small on these
Great video mate 👍. The tyre's couldn't handle the power great to know. It could be a great Skatepark basher 😂..Ives subscribed to your channel mate 🦘😂
Is that the V1 or V2, bro, because the V2, is a lot better, then the V1, as i noticed on the box ,it didn't state what version it was, you didn't mention what version it was too, 👍
In my video it took 4s just fine. We even raced name brands and beat most of them with it. Then again, I gave a bad review to a Hosim Truck that others seemed to love. So, I guess it boils down to individual experiences.
Yeah I’ve ran a few 4s through mine mainly on tarmac and I haven’t ripped one standard tyre. Changed to better tyres but yet somehow ripped them. I think the standard ones are ripping when people flip them and the sidewall digs in.
The MJX will have to go a long way to be a better package than the MT10 but it's so much cheaper. The MJX might have more fruit but I bet it doesn't handle as well as the MT10. But for the price hard to beat the MJX.
They're probably filling the diffs with grease to prevent the strain on the electronics that silicone oil would put on the drive train. They shoulda gone with a larger can size motor, IMO
Probably. MJX decides when V2 videos are released. Someone posted a V2 video too early and he had to take it down. Looks like RekRc is the only one that had permission for an early V2 video release so far.
I love the part when you test what batteries will fit. Very useful, haven't seen any other youtuber doing this.
So true, never seen any other RUclipsr actually measure what batteries will actually fit in the vehicle. 👍👍👍💯💯🙂🙂🤷🏻♂️❤️

Great review, nice truck, good work! 👍
The H14BM 1/14 scale awesome car for the price!!
Well done 🙌🏻
Great review video Gerard! What a beast of a truck! I was going to get the AE MT10 but this looks like better value for money! Crazy on 4S! 😂
Can you compare it to the omni terminator from rlaarlo ? ❤
I have the version 1 and I had no issues with it,mater fact I really liked it. I’m a newbie tho lol
I just dipped my toe into RC with a hbx 16890a and i'm already looking to upgrade the funs. Is this a good next step? are 1/10s much better?
It’s awesome 👏
looks awesome 👌 absolute beast 💪💪😎😎😎👍
3s is best for this truck 👍
10208 it's very nice. I got the white one. I love it. Can't wait to upgrade the controller though.

No you are right. Is basically a front wheel drive due to the center diff buddy

Yep, I agree, mjx v2 is awesome, bro, 😉👍

Great video? Which HyperGo is it?

The 1/16 and the 1/14 can take 3s also,🤷🏻♂️👍💯🙂
4s need more runways😅
Sadly that radio is trash but yank that out and put something better and you'll be fine.
It's a shame the tires can't handle 4s
It's too Fast,,, Said No One Ever😅😂🤣
this car is good but not a blast , dampening and handling is realy weak compare to the omniterminator or others
Rival MT 10 is not very durable. After one year a lot of parts where broken. Can't recommend it...
