This anime gets a lot of hate for fanservice and the generic care for friends and family. But to those of us that enjoy it. It is great

eyork542 well I enjoyed the anime, cause there was a lot of character development and stuff and the fanservice....as a 15 year old boy I didn’t mind it one bit but now that I’m older it gets annoying. And as for the power of friendship beating the big bad dragon ( I don’t want to spoil anyone) was such BS, the guy was literally immune to magic based attack...and what does he get beat with? A magic based attack. There’s other stuff I’d go over like the power jumps being ridiculous as hell, the asspulls and plot device.
Ppl hate Lucy just cuz of the fan service and don’t care about her development, LIKE SHE IS SOOO STRONG AND PPL STILL CALL USELESS, FOR GOD SAKE

I mean, if it wasn't for Raven Tail puppet, Lucy would totally win the fight against Flare and she is the ONLY mage that has more than five golden keys and she can summon two or more spirits at once, which impressed even the Spirit King himself. If that isn't being powerful, I don't know what it is.
Not to mention the fact that if it wasn’t for Lucy, everyone would’ve been killed in Tartaros
Juliana Gegenheimer also the fact that Lucy rewrote END to save Natsu's life.

This is how I see it:
The anime began with the narration of Lucy wanting to join Fairy Tail. The story revolves around her joining Fairy Tail and what happens to Fairy Tail onwards. The story unfolds then with the history of FT at its core (being attacked because they are the top guild, Mavis etc. etc.).
Though this is my opinion.
do you guys really watch fairy tail? no one is the main character, I know all the people watching fairy tail thinks natsu is the main well i think it too but think about it the real main is the actuall fairy tail guild itself so guys you don't have to argue who the main is or what the main is.

The reason why you don't see the main protagonists in opening 22 is because its a prequel season best known as Fairytail 0. Its about the first master (the little blonde girl with feathers on her hair) and how she is connected with the main villain and how she created the guild Fairytail. Its great anime that it gets progressively darker with every season.
Fairy tail has fans service but its equal for boys and girl like there's a male stripper

Fairy Tail is definitely enjoyable for it's characters and humor and emotional moments overall, though it isn't the most logically written. I would say most of the arcs are still enjoyable as long as you're invested in the story.
It all depends how the story is told imo, seems that you liked it tho! I’m sure we will enjoy it when we watch it too 🔥
Fairy Tail is written perfectly both in the manga and anime, the problem is the idiots that don't have the brain cells to put two and two together and need everything given to them on a plate.

the author already clarified that Lucy is the Mc lol. It’s just that as the story progress the other also gains their own fanbase (especially Natsu). Besides, the narrative monologues are all delivered by Lucy and no one else. (Except of course the main old man voice narrator).

A Lot of people don't know that the blonde girl (Lucy) is the main character since we are living the story through her eyes, she is the narrator.
Fairy tail has 328 episodes, so it's long but not that much. So if you decide to start watching it, have a nice watching experience.

I think Natsu is the main character since it's confirmed on Rave x Fairy Tail x Eden's Zero manga created by Hiro Mashima. They stated there that Natsu is the main protagonist and Lucy is the heroine of the story. Though she's the main girl character though
Misty 123 “Main character” is a completely arbitrary term. In Fairy Tail, there is no “main character,” there’s 4 (or 5) main characters. And as far as who is the protagonist, it really just depends on which arc you’re watching.
Lucy could be described as the main character, but you could just as easily make the case she is not. Creator’s intentions really mean nothing if it’s not converted that way in the story. In any story, most of the time “genius” creative decisions boil down to ‘the author thought it would look/sound cool.’ Lucy is the window through which the audience sees Earthland, but that doesn’t necessarily make her the main character. She is the personification of the watcher.
At the end of the day, the question of who the main character is is pretty much pointless. The answer: it doesn’t matter.
The issue is that all arcs go back straight to Lucy and her family or have at least some involvement or connection to them, unless story resolves strictly around specific other team or guild members, like Macao Rescue (Natsu), Tower of Heaven (Erza), Oracion Seis (Wendy), Edolas (Happy and Carla), Avatar (Gray).
Other than Fairy Tail Zero which was a prequel - Lucy also has major involvement in all arcs, which cannot be said about literally any other character.
We start with Lucy and have specific only-Lucy arcs (Loki the Leo arc). We have arcs based on her (Fake Salamander arc, Phantom Lord, Key of the Starry Heaven, GMG, Eclipse Spirits) or arc where she wins major fights or do something that rescued others or major plotline of the arc is her helping someone (Magnolia's festival, Tenrou, Sun Village, Tartaros, Avatar, Alvarez). And her family has major involvement in main plot of the series on top of it all.
She also narrates and actually writes down all adventures into the book she publishes at the end. It is Lucy's adventure with Fairy Tail.
Not to mention that Meredy, Wendy and her were the MVPs of the last arc. With Gray, Natsu and Erza taking still some part, but could easily be replaced.

Fairy tail is my favorite anime. Alot of people hate it because it doesn't have a plot exactly and they also hate it because of its friendship things but that's the reason why I love it. Since our world is full of hatred and anger, this anime fulfills that and that's why its unique. It gives me alot of good feelings and I become happier just by watching it.
Fairy tail is my all time favourite. It might not be the best written anime but it's entartainmant pure. I don't know it just has the complete package for me. Characters,music,story,emotions,romanze,humour,fights what do you want more?Even the filler episodes are enjoyable!

Fairytail has a lot of friendship cliche, but what makes it unique as a shonen anime/series is that the story is told from Lucy’s perspective. It is a good watch, they kind of rushed the final season in my opinion.

Most unique girl is Juvia. Blue haired girl with hat. Interesting combo yandere & dandere, but her obsessive love over a boy she likes & fantasies that goes with it is HILARIOUS! One of my favorite animanga girls ^^
Fairy Tail gets a lot of hate for its use of the "Power of friendship, no deaths/fake-out deaths and how enemies are beaten" some people don't really mind the fanservice.. in fact its what makes Fairy Tail funny, they tend to use the fanservice for humour.
The animation and art gets better (especially art) but the animation and colours dull down during the episodes 230-276+. The show really is not meant to be taken so seriously like most main shounens its just supposed to be something entertaining and fun.
Ooh so here is where the phrase “power of friendship” comes from? 😂
But At the end every shounen has that bruh, I’m sure we will enjoy it anyway
And fanservice is aight as long as it doesn’t interrupt the plot

I think the colour get darker to show the route its taking and that's supposed to be it finale season however it continues on if I'm not mistaken

One of the greatest love confessions of all time is near the end of Fairy Tail, and they’re definitely a shounen with romantic undertones. I totally recommend watching!!!
Fairy tail is one of those shows for me that i know the writing gets worse and many shounens are better written but i still like it a lot. I think the characters stories and the characters interaction is what really makes it good for me. Some parts are not as great but this show would also make me emotional especially whenever the osts are playing.

All you need to know is that the guy with the eye tattoo seems to be the author's favorite character, and puts him in almost every arc, somehow. There are a lot of fake versions of him running around, so look out.

In this show there are guilds and fairy tail is one of them . The tatoos that they have represent their guild, as you saw in the tournament arc there were different symbols that represented the other guilds.
Natsu ( the guy with pink hair ) has fire dragon slayer magic ( he learned that from that red dragon that is always in the opening , also the scarf is a gift from that dragon)
Lucy ( the blonde girl ) has summons , she uses those keys to summon zodiac characters
Erza ( redhead ) has equip magic ( armor and swords)
Gray ( the shirtless guy ) has ice powers.
Fairy tail zero is the prequel of the series and the blonde little girl is the first master of the guild and the founder.
Fairy Tail was my first anime and it definitely holds a special place in my heart it’s really good

The mangaka was heavilly inspired by One Piece, the early depictions of the characters looked incredibly similar to the OP artstyle... after a while less so but that one dude... yeah he's Shanks, basically.

In reality that is impossible that fairy tail was inspired by one piece. The manga came out a whooping 8 months after One piece. That's such a short amount of time to actually be inspired. As a writer myself, it takes months and months to get inspired. The art style is similar because both of them were insipred by Dragon Ball. During the time period when the Mangas started it was actually a very POPULAR art style. Shanks and Gildarts show NO RESEMBLENCE. Gildarts has Dirty blonde hair while shanks has reddish hair.

The main girl is the blonde hair girl , and fairy tail is my favourite anime!! Its seriously has a good plot, and Fairy Tail has not ended, its manga is still ongoing on , and maybe the 10th season of fairy tail might come next year.

Fun fact! Lucy (the blonde) is actually the main character. You can tell because we hear her narrarating at the end of every episode. We also see it as her journey joining and becoming a fairy tail member!
Fairy tale is one of favorite Anime, The plot is sometimes up and down, but it has very rememberable characters, with good back stories that create fun, bitter and interesting interaction. A lot of people would point to Natsu and Lucy as main character but the show is more collective focus than on an individual hero. So it has a bunch good important characters.

Lucy's power is to summon zodiac's spirits
The blond guy with the scar who controls lightning wasnt neccesarily bad. He was apart of Fairytale before a lot of the other characters and is one of the strongest member. And the guy the looks like Shanks is the strongest Fairytale member. The original S class fairytale members were..
1: Gildarts Clive (Shanks)
2: Laxus Dreyar (Lightning guy)
2: Mystagon (Blue haired guy with all the staffs)
3: Erza Scarlet (Red Haired Girl) but now it's not certain who the strongest is

Fairy tail is an amazing anime, with an amazing plot and amazing characters!! The main character is the blond girl her name is Lucy heartfilia, this show is a mixture of action with amazing fight scenes, of course some fan service, a hint of romance, and definitely comedy!. This show is a roller coaster of emotions and experiences. The characters are really relatable and can get easily attached to. This show will have you laughing your ass off, to happy, to having you on the edge of you chair with anticipation, to bawling your eyes out, and back to being happy again. Its an amazing show an I highly recommend watching!!! And if you do end up watching this show watch it in dubbed!! Trust me!! And welcome to the fairy tail family!! ❤️👆

I’m glad to see you finally did the Fairy Tail reaction. There are many opening because of he openings usually last about 15 episodes and they last about 1:30 minutes. I’m glad to see you found a video with all the openings there weren’t many videos with all the openings together. It is called Zero because it is before the events start in the story it set in the past. The girl with blue hair is called Juvia she has water powers. The red haired girl is named Erza she has different armor and weapons. I think the art and design are really great, but in the story it sometimes lacks the payoff. There are some epic moments but some plots are resolved in a stupid way. Fairy Tail is the name of their guild, there are many guilds in the world. I wanna tell you more but it is hard to not say any spoilers. There is a dragon theme. It is hard as week because there are many shows I wanna see as well but little time. It seems Sebastian is more keen to details he caught many things. And Jose seems funnier. Keep up the videos it makes my day when I see your reactions. Sorry if the comment is too long. I'd argue whether Lucy or Natsu is the main character. Like, so many times the camera focuses on one or the other, and still finds time to put the camera on the rest of the guild. Solid anime, in my top 5
Like a lot of people say this anime is not perfect, it has a lot of plot inconsistencies, they overuse the "power of friendship" thing, but personally I don't mind it at all. I love this anime a lot it helped me when I was in a dark moment in my life, it's just so funny and fulfilling in a way that in my case it made me feel loved, all the friendship and family dynamics makes you fall in love with all the characters, not only the main ones. This anime is perfect to just have a good time, is really funny and entertaining I totally recommended. Just don't take it too seriously and enjoy!!!
The red haired is Erza Scarlet, I love her and she's the most Badass female character in FairyTail series. She's perfect for Jellal the blue hair with eye-tattoo and He is cool too as you said.
