I honestly find it insane you can get value on this character. Whenever I play them I feel like punching a brick wall would be more fun. Honestly the only thing I could extract from your gameplay is to use the dodge heavy externals more....
Takes a minute to get used to him. Wasn't until like rep 4 was starting to be effective. Fear is your greatest tool. That Zenkai state scares the hell out of people same when you use your debuff feat on people.
Getting the Zenkai is important but dont let it be your main objective. People will track which weapons you have left to activate and read on that. Dueling it out straight is usually going to be the go to . Yuriv does this well and holds his Zenkai through alot of fights
@@a40dollardlc64 I am pretty good at dueling with him, it is just as soon as my enemies are more than 1 my death is confirmed. He doesn't have great anti-gank and it is always a gamble whether I can hold out long enough for teammates to help me. That is my problem ATM and I am not sure how to improve that beyond just a vague, "get better" at anti-ganking.
@@Trainer-uh1zf Oh yeah, that is one fun thing about Sohei is the fear you can cultivate. When I do manage to get 6 souls, I have had enemies literally wait for a friend before they push in on point. That is hilarious when I can get manage it. I will say that Sohei may have arguably the best feats in the game.
Yeah his external dodge attacks are good cause he can chain into his hyperarmor zone which you can feint out of to GB. Main advice for sohei is playing on people's fear of the GB and playing mindgames with souls. You would be amazed at the number of people who will just eat the UB from him.
You deserve a lot more views for these. Your Sohei gameplay is really good. I had given up on the character until I started doing what I see here, and now I'm almost rep 8!
I don't understand how did the devs come up with this (sohei) after varangian guard? Full clunky, you can't even leave or throw your opponent during your 3 light or 3 heavy stab like peacekeeper. And only light or heavy chains...
Y’know I was kinda hoping he had that too! That can be a nice buff like cents gb to 2 bash to throw. I play sohei and I feel as tho he definitely needs that

Probably the best Sohei play I've seen tbh. I want to pick up the character but his damage output is so dog shit lol.
