I read somewhere that they’re going to rework the Backwater maps instead, but I don’t remember whether it was just speculation or confirmed by BHVR.
I honestly think this chapter is amazing. I don’t know why most ppl are complaining saying that this killer is too boring and not scary but I say that she’s very cool. Having an overweight African lady killer along with her pet dog is something we may have not imagined, but that’s what makes DBD so good is by getting unimaginable things. I’m absolutely in love with her terror radius music too 🤌
This. People seem to think the only type of killer that can exist is supernatural deformed creatures, but that would get boring really quick if every killer was like that."Scary/horror" can take on different meanings. Doctor isn't Eldritch at all, but I find him plenty scary, for example
@@DilligenceBackup And lore-wise, the Entity would want human killers more than supernatural monsters since they don't have any type of emotions, unlike humans. That's what the Entity feeds off of, after all.

I wonder if people know about that part to the story, that the Entity needs emotions from the Survivors AND Killers in order to survive, but honestly there's probably like, 70% of players that don't really know about the lore, and just think "Killer needs to be scary and not human"

Pretty cool map, killer and the character seem interesting, nice gameplay btw. When is this update coming out to pubic cause right now as i write this, this isn't on the game yet.
It's the perk that I used called Clean Break, when you finish healing a survivor, you can activate it when you're being healed by someone to make yourself broken and instantly heal after 60 seconds, the perk resets if you're in the dying state and you'll have to heal someone again to activate it
I'm gonna respectfully say this, this killer has to be the worst one dbd has put out in all of its existence, a dog? really? that's all it does, seems kind of lame, and the looks are even worse.
After reading the lore (and also loving pirates) I am a lot more interested in this killer. The dog is similar to the twins in how it was formed by the entity to look like something she loved.
@@Marollo Ive seen players debate if Snug is an illusion made by the Entity or if the cursed island she was marooned on gave Snug supernatural abilities to remain alive. I thought it was the latter, since Snug is much different than Victor. Like there is more emotion you get from Snug in a trial, even the ability to pet the doge, I feel like an illusion of the Entity shouldn't react that way. Snug is pretty much a normal dog, save the third eye he has, but I guarantee that's more from the cursed island than the Entity. The speed boost she gets I think is some psychic link between them, which makes her move faster to the target. It's no superhuman (or animal?) powers he has, even his bite isn't really much besides a hindrance for Survivors. But then again, the Entity feeds on emotions, maybe it knows that Portia wouldn't be as willing to participate without Snug. Honestly, I think her drive for vengeance against Molok would have been enough to continue sacrificing and killing.
