I would prefer if the fill tool would work as in Corel draw, a perfect fill. I think this is on the Dev's radar

I totally agree. The fill tool has settings you can tweak to your liking but even then, you will find that you likely have to still tweak the area that you have filled. I know this is something the devs are indeed looking into

It's not filling, its saying area not bounded after I did a trace bitmap

@@antoniobolton9100 Hello there my friend. Because of the way Trace Bitmap works, sometimes there are small gaps that cannot be seen normally ie there are lines that look like they're joined but in reality, they overlap. This is the most common reason for the error.
My suggestion (Although I have not tested it in the current build) would to be select the online that you are looking to fill and use either Outline mode or the Shape Builder tool as this will make it obvious it there are any errors.
If you are still having problems after these suggestions, by all means, reach out to me via email so you can attach the file or send images. This will allow me to work on a fix for you 😁

The fill tool is awkward yes, but there are many other ways to add fill colours. Thank you for the feedback 😊

Absolutely agree with you, although I love Inkscape. As an example I can give CorelDraw, launch and try, this is how this tool should work.

@@Skyliptor who knows! Maybe they have plans to alter it so it works in a similar way. Only time will tell my friend 🙂
