This was amazing. Possibly the best I've seen Matisyahu and the band in the 15 years I've been a fan.
I live in Alaska, and I am of the Unangun (Aleut) people. I see similarities in what our peoples have been through, my people were slaves to other powers, and are just now relearning to connect with their culture. There is wonderful storytelling in this music. Happy blessings to you on your holiday, and rise and be proud!
How amazing! God is Good! I believe I am descended from the Aleut people & belong to one of the corporations even though I live in KCMO. My fathers surname is McGriff & his mother was Akpuk or something like that. I can't find out any thing about my ancestors in Alaska even though I am in Ancestry.com.
