    Sometimes in Ghana, funerals are being done based on how the person died, let say age... If the person in from 20 to 45 the mostly go with black above that to 70 black and red, and from 70 to any other they limit the red and black to white just like my grandma who died 3days ago was 121yrs and as an akan tribe such person we do 70% white and 30% black.... Also its depends on the tribe the person is from.

    Regarding the funeral, black and red represent sombre, and sadness in Ghana. They represent mournful mood. Red also represents pain or war mood, so for example people who go on demonstration in Ghana mostly wear red attires or scarfs to signify their seriousness and uncompromising mood. White is worn on Sundays for church service, otherwise white is used only if the deceased is elderly. It is to celebrate the life of that dead elderly individual.
    So white is for church service on the Sunday after the funeral, which is usually held on Friday and Saturday. If the deceased is over 90, white is usually the colour. Black and red are the colours for people under 90 years (definitely under 80 years). Mind you, this is definitely the case for the Akan ethnic group. It might differ for other ethnic groups.

    You're granted permission to show the video. Lol. Concerning medication like paracetamol,vitamin C, the locally produced ones are a fifth of the price of the imported alternatives, even though they are just as effective.

      Always ask of the availability of a local alternative because the pharmacies would usually offer the more expensive imported option first.

    That's not true, the difference between ghanaian jollof rice and Nigerian jollof rice is Nigerians add butter in their jollof rice period

    • @TheJumzTV
      @TheJumzTV  3 года назад

      Lol it’s not everyone who does that.
      Sometimes it’s used for large scale preparations, maybe for parties and things.
      You should try the butter too, it’s delicious 🤤. 😉
