I drove barefeet for 5 years with a manual, i normally wear flip flops too and lemme tell ya, driving manual with flip flops arent fun. Sometimes it gets stuck under the pedal too or ur feet slips off the pedal hahah, or even worse, your feet slips off ur flip flops
Loud cars are almost a common thing. There’s a Pontiac GTO that’s louder than it should be. Most insane cars around my area are a Nissan GTR wide body and DDE’s car before the Covid19. I live where PFS is located
@@mattparkin7224 It's easy - you end up punching the door a few times to start when you go for the gear stick with the wrong hand but you get used to it in no time.
Hey that looks awesome, we just imported a Kaido racer to the UK (from New Zealand weirdly), damn it is loud! Has a full shark nose, going to be interesting trying to get it legally on the road, but we'll manage it we hope! If you find yourself on this side of the Atlantic you're welcome to come and check it out. Can't wait to see more videos of the bosozoku life in USA.
That dark pink color with the chrome just pops in the California sun man. I can’t wait to see the videos of people reactions to it at the Sunday car shows
Alot of kids aren't taught respect in the US like in Japan, give that a few cars shows before some sticky ice cream eating kids sits or stands on that front lip and break it :(
@@Stevespov HAHA no it was right before malibu canyon we were coming towards calabasas in a blue 911 carrera S. Heard the car wayyy before we saw it LOL its a beauty
You can start off with a old / classic Nissan 240SX / Silvia, 300ZX, Maxima, Stanza, Skyline, Infiniti I30, Mitsubishi 3000, Eclipse 90's, Mazda RX7-FC or FD, Subaru SVX or WRX 90's, then add on long protruding dual chrome exhaust extensions, and alloy wheels, custom steering wheel, custom mats, stereo upgrade, wing upgrade, custom horns, body kit, custom paint. It don't have to be fast, it can be made just for show. Heavy engine and Transmission upgrades is optional but does not have to be done. Light engine upgrades, such as chrome valve covers, custom headers, colorful ignition cables, custom air intake and filter, and other light engine upgrades are accepted. Body kit and paint upgrades, and interior / stereo upgrades are accepted. Exhaust upgrade is accepted.
We have a “rolling car show” here in Ramona, CA and we’d love it to see this show up during our Cruise Night! Every Thursday night from now until the end of September! Bring out all of your cars and friends! It is a slow drive speed while cruising and I’m sure those pipes would do just fine on the car while cruising! 🙌🏼😆
Wasn't feeling the bosozoku style first time I seen a vid with them but this car has already grown on me and now I'm alot more curious of this style culture, especially you bringing a full blown bosozoku car to the states. Congrats man!
This is why I love cars, you simply cannot look at this thing without smiling (ok maybe laughing), but in a good way, I absolutely love it, so cool man, and no better man to endorse it that Steve, he is a cool guy and when it comes to Japanese culture (especially cars), he really knows his stuff. 😂😎👍
Yeah in his previous video of the car the exhaust extensions had a rod or something coming from it and the trunk lid had a bracket coming from under it for support so hopefully it came with a box of miscellaneous parts with them in it.
2:34 I sometimes drive my 5 speed vehicle while wearing sandals. Those sometimes are only when I cruise forth to buy food that's near my home, and back home.
2:20 -- true story ... I had a distant cousin who was wearing flip flops while driving years ago. The back part of the flip flop on his right foot rolled under; so, he couldn't slow the car's acceleration as quickly as he needed. Ended in an accident. Only ASSHOLES wear flip flops while driving. Thumbs up on the video - glad to see this car in L.A. now.
Same with high heel. Years ago a lady rolled her car outside my house coz the heel got stuck and she couldn't move her foot from the accelerator to the break
That car doesn't have push button start. That car doesn't have rear view camera. It can't be a good car without em! Just kidding haha that's a ride mate9
Oh Oops hehe! Absolutely made my day this video has its fantastic to see the old school jdm has made it into to the USA now needs more people to hope onto this can't wait for another video you now have one more subscriber 🙌🏼🤙🏼🔥
Name it "Highway Star" after the Deep Purple song because it's purple, has stars and is very popular both here and Japan. Thanks for bringing her here and if I'm ever down south for a show I hope to see her there.
You can make the way the exhaust mounts a lot better and sturdier to where they wont fall off. Stop by Race Service I guarantee they would love to help out on the first Bosozoku car in the US
12:56 There's so many dips, bumps, and anti low vehicle driveways. Seems that you're only able to use it on major streets, freeways, and only street parking.

Congratulations on the car bro. It’s amazing. Reminds me of our crazy trip to Japan with Steve. 🇯🇵 enjoy it. That’s a show stopper.

That was a good vlog. Steve is a cool dude. I wonder how he got so much Japanese knowledge ? Seems like he must of lived there for quite a few years.

It’s super scary when the flip flop gets stuck under the pedal...!
same i just rest bottom of my heel on the flip flops an pivot my barefoot to reach the pedals
actually illegal in the uk to drive with flip flops
It's illegal to drive a lot of places with flip flops, I think it's illegal here in Canada (Ontario at least)
For sure driving a manual with flip flops is a bad time. Gotta run either shoes or bare foot.
no one:
Officer Pena: those exhaust pipes are not stock
Commenter2 he has to. One of his friends is probably a car enthusiast
Also a fender...
Our india have also fuckin annoying cops..
Officer pena is currently fighting in the drug war
Either Steve’s neighbors love him or they used to his crazy cars.
or maybe they work during daytime lol
Don Draper that could be a possibility

Matt Parkin really not that hard. The shift pattern is the same.
Peña is like hurry up and get those cars down here to Beverly Hills 😂
Love Steve, dude is cool as hell.
The rear spoiler wobbles while driving, you need more support.
